Default Help for a dieter! (Ideal Protein)

Hello everyone!
I'm just in need of some advice
I'm an Ideal Protein coach in Billings, MT. I have this lady I'm coaching that is so lovely! She's almost 40 pounds down and looks fantastic! She's having a little bit of a difficult time though. She phased out over a year ago at 128 (her goal being 130-132, and has done really well. She's currently weighing in at 137 and is just a little disappointed cause she really would like to see it be back down those four pounds or so. She said she feels a bit sluggish and bloated in the stomach area and thinks if she could get that last little bit off she would feel so much better. She's stuck so well to the meat and veggies, her only treat is one glass of wine a week, and maybe dessert once a month or so. She's a champ!

So here's my question, if I put her back on Phase 1, which will bring it off I know.. Will it come back on in the future? I would love to see her happy with the number on the scale and have it stay that way. Especially with how faithful she's been to maintenance.
Would it be better for her to focus more on physical activity? I'd hate to see her put all the time, money, energy, etc.. back into the program if it's just gonna come back. If anyone has been through something similar or has any recommendations at all I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
Taylor

I went through something like this about a year into maintenance. I looked & felt great & it was pretty easy to stick to my eating plan. It felt like my body had settled into a nice niche. Then I decided to try to drop a little bit before the holiday season in anticipation of gaining a little. And I was about 10 lbs over my original phase off skinny weight.

The result was that I began a binge/restrict cycle that result in a bigger gain that I am still trying to get off, and a lot of food angst. In hindsight, it would have been better to stay at the slightly higher-than-perfect weight that was sustainable and that felt wonderful. Hidsight is 20/20 lol!

Based on my experience, I'd vote for encouraging exercise, staying away from rigorous dieting. Best wishes to your client--sounds like she is in good, thoughtful hands!
