Another way too early start to the day! Jazz cried me awake at 3 a.m. He's been out, fed and has been sleeping in his bed the past two hours or more. I was in bed by 9 so I did get six hours of sleep but still ...

No meetings scheduled for today and if anyone wants one, they are SOL! I have book club here tonight and things to do - mainly figuring out refreshments without having to go to town to shop. I also need to call some people re bill paying which is usually automatic via credit card. I had to close my Mastercard and need to give them my Visa for auto-pay.

It's been a bad week and TGIF!!!!!

I also had a wake up call but not as early as you, Geo (cat) woke me up at 5 a.m. because he wanted to eat. He tends to jump on things and knock them off to get your attention if you are asleep.

Today is wfh and DD2 is getting her braces put on at 2 p.m. so we will be off to that later today. It is supposed to get up to mid 70's today (mind blown).

Ruth hopefully your weekend will be better than your week has gone so far. Enjoy your book club this evening.

I would say ordinary day for me, but DH decided to take a day off. As a state employee, he's not allowed overtime, so he gets comp time instead...and has to use it by the end of the month. He'll use one next week to take me to my neuro appointment since it's almost 3 hours away (isn't he sweet?). But, I hope he finds something to do to keep himself busy so he doesn't drive me nuts !! A friend is going to Sam's, so we're going to make it a girls' trip . She's my massage therapist friend that has the best attitude in the world, and I love hanging out with her.

Good morning, chicks!

Yesterday we had a brilliant blue sky and sunshine all day. I know it is bad for the trees, but the ice was soooo sparkly! I tried several times to capture it with my camera; the light was creating a prism effect and the trees looked like they had Christmas lights on. Truly beautiful. But this weekend we are going above freezing which will be good; the birches out back are almost bent into a horseshoe.

Ruth and Pearlrose, those pets are as bad as babies!! DH and I keep talking about getting a puppy but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Hope you both have a good day.

Tammy, DH retired last spring and he jokingly tells me that it's the fact that I leave every day that allows us to get along so well! Enjoy your trip to Sam's and your friend's company.

I slept in until six. That felt pretty good but Kirk wasn't ready for me to help him with his new iPhone
It's a beautiful warm sunny day here and I'm sitting out on the porch with the doggies. I need to make a trip into Denver need to figure out my timeline and grocery list. Went to the Cairo yesterday my ankle has been bugging me to good thing when your waitress. I scheduled a massage for tomorrow so should be good to go back to work on Sunday. That's is in my world. I better get going.

I have been away from this website for a while. Before I was on the Ideal Protein diet. I started South Beach Monday and was hoping to use this website for advice, recipies, encouragement, and so on. It seems that this forum is not very active. Am I looking in the wrong place? Would appreciate any info you have.

Late check in. Went to a funeral for one of our Police Unity Tour members. I feel terribly for his wife and two sons. I decided to take the rest of the day off. Going to get my groceries and a trip to Home Depot. The scale and I are friends this week. I'm hoping to be under my goal weight by the end of the month. I keep telling myself my back and knees will thank me lol.
