  • Hi everyone ! I just started yet again a diet. I think the reason i failed the other times is because I had no support and that's why I joined this forum. My heaviest weight was 260 lbs, I'm currently at 225 lbs and would like to get down to around 145. I'm also looking for tips as I live in a west african country where people eat rice every day and don't really care about healthy foods and vegetables so I'm looking for a way to eat the local food and still loose weight.

    My advice is of course that you should try to find some sources of vegetables and fruits to add to your diet. What you can do is try calorie counting. There's a whole sub forum dedicated to it, and it's something that I have done very successfully for weight loss.
