3 in 1 diet

  • Hi,

this is simple and yet varied. 3 Diets in One Plan. This may sound like a lot of rules, but in reality it is a lot of tools.

    Intermittent Fasting (pick a window)

    Low Carb (under 100 carbs)

Calorie Counting (as many as you need to lose and be healthy)

The best part of the plan is if you fail in one you have the other two to keep you going. You may be going for a while doing all three, but at times have to do just one, because of life issues. You are not falling off plan you are just alternating or combining to make it fit. If you do go completely fall off all three, tomorrow get back on.
  • ok, my starting weight for February 1st is 176

I will try and do all three today, which is my 16/8 intermittent fasting, then 1500 calories and I will be under 100 carbs. Not to hard with the carbs since I basically have eaten low carb in the past and 100 is and easy amount. But when a person accually counts calories, well they sure add up fast. The eating window will help make that better for me.
  • 1500 calories sure add up fast.
    Low carb is ok
eating window will take a while to get used to. But over all for day two, I'm not doing bad.
  • Well this Woe if fun, kinda like IE. I have taken it a bit to far though. here's my results. Yesterday I didn't eat on any one of the plans, I just said, What the heck and ate what I wanted when I wanted, and you can see where that got me.

    feb 1st. 176, feb 2nd 176, then feb. 3rd 178. Well I was bummed yesterday, today, I'm refocused.
  • This 3 in 1 approach makes sense! Great idea, I've been thinking similar thoughts about weight loss. I struggle to hold the low carb concept 100% of the time. I have started using the nutrition macros on My Fitness Pal. I will begin using the 3 in 1 tomorrow. I'm going to keep the carbs under 100g, calories 1350 and under, and use the 16/8 fasting.
