Hello All, I am happy to find this forum. I have felt overweight all of my life even when I only weighed 125 at 5'9". Now I truly have 25 pounds to lose after a medically challenging year. I was on Prednisone for 3 weeks which caused a big weight gain, then I was on a thyroid pill that was discovered to be ineffective and I became hypothyroid which caused even more weight gain. I broke my leg last year and became inactive. All is good now. I wish I could say I gained weight due to water retention but no it was all from over eating. I look forward to becoming part of this community.
Hi there! We're very glad to have you, too. (:
Thankfully, a weight loss journey tends to also be a good way to shift your perspective on yourself, too. It might be good to also focus on that aspect since no amount of weight loss will be satisfactory if you still feel bad about your body at the underweight range.
I wish you the best of luck, though! Hope to see you around. ^^
