Good morning!

I am drinking coffee and working on fleece blankets this morning. I had into work at 5:30. I am hoping I'll have energy to finish is when I get home this afternoon. I'm not finding myself too chatty yet. Perhaps more coffee will help.

What's on your agenda today? I'll bet it's a busy week for everyone. Have a great day!

Good morning, Debbie. I am having a short cup this morning. I am missing work for a medical test and don't get breakfast.

I managed to do most of my wrapping yesterday but the Christmas cards got the short end of the stick this year! I might try to squeeze in a few yet, but I guess that means I would have to do it tonight, doesn't it?

We had a weekend of winter weather complete with blustery wind and a couple inches of snow but it is supposed to warm up again for the week. It's great for anyone traveling (DS1 is coming home today!) but a little less than "picture perfect". I wonder if this means a January and February full of ice?

Have a good day, chicks.

Good morning, Lexxis and thanks for starting up up. I sure could use one of those fleece blankets this morning as I turned down the furnace twice. I hope you made enough coffee to share.

Seemed like a very busy weekend and yet I don't feel I got anything done! I hate when that happens. Heather and Steve did come over yesterday and put up the outside lights but I got no wrapping done. It didn't help to have other drop-in company must of the day. Today is going to be a 5th gear Monday, particularly for wrapping. It will start with a quick coffee with the church group, followed by a dash to the bank. I do have to be at home most of the day because I am expecting a UPS delivery that requires a signature. (The dogs never did learn to write their names.)

By bedtime tonight, I expect to have the Bling Tree in place, most of the wrapping done and Christmas CDs playing on my new player - IF UPS comes through. (I've been missing music and CBC news since I ditched Harry's monstrous sound system last spring. This is my Santa Gift for 2015!)

Wishing us all a peaceful but well-used Monday.

Wow Ruth, you sure are ambitious, that's a lot to get done today! Do we get to see a picture of the Bling Tree?

Beth - farmer's almanac said it was going to be a bad winter, and it's *always* right. Makes you nervous for January/February, doesn't it?!

Debbie - thanks for starting us up. How is your friend feeling with the chemo? What's your plans for Christmas day?

Today is my last quiet day before the storm. Tomorrow is DD's birthday and I have several appointments, then the kids are off for break. Which means I have to have everything finished today! Good luck with that! (oops, and DH didn't buy birthday wrapping paper...gotta do that too...) I should also get some groceries, I suppose. Darned family members always wanting to eat...

DH made me coffee . What a good man

Good morning!

I'm enjoying a peacefully calm and quiet morning, but it feels a bit strange. I had gotten so accustomed to the chaos of everyone getting ready and getting out the door on time! I'm all set for Christmas, so I think I can just sit back and enjoy my tree and inhale the joy of the season now.

The kids spent their first night in their new home, and they're about 85% moved out of our house. They'll be coming back every day to pick up the small things as they get settled and sorted out.

Have a good last day of autumn!

Good morning early risers It's an early day here. Already completed some paperwork, seasoned Black Bean Tomatillo Soup to bring for the staff potluck, and edited and printed some recipes. I'm ready to go back to bed now Just a day and a half of work left, I think I can make it. Wednesday we are up early to finally get the MOHS surgery done so I can spend my time off healing. DH is taking two days off to keep an eye on me. Don't know why he doesn't think I'll behave

Yesterday we gathered wood for a Christmas night bonfire. What a strange year. I'm looking forward to enjoying that full moon in style.

Happy Monday
