I would love another cup. Thanks Cottage

Good morning Chicks I have about 30 seconds so just popping in to say hello. Last night I made the very dangerous and non SBD friendly Christmas Crunch (known as Christmas Crack at DH's workplace) to send to work with DH. They request it every year so even though I don't eat it, I make it Making a batch for my coworkers too. It's so easy and everyone always loves it. Can't remember if Cottage or Ruth shared that one, I made my own version and it's requested every year.

And now I'm running late already Good thing I have a break in 4.5 more days!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee. I'll have a second cup while I install my brain.

Yes, that Crunch is so good it should be banned. I've not made it this year - yet - but do have it on my list. I may be able to avoid a trip to bulk barn fir the ingredients. Right now I have everything ready on my counter to make three rum cakes for gifts and enough eggs in the fridge to do them. Since I have only one bundt pan, it'll be a long process and won't be happening today.

Hey! We got a skiff of snow last night - just enough to make the back deck look like it was covered by a giant doily and excite the pups. Today's temps will be above normal so it'll soon be gone. Methinks it was a warning from Mother Nature to put more effort into finding those missing winter boots and long coat.

This morning's focus will be on the house since Michelle comes tomorrow and I promised her the sewing "studio" would be ready for a deep clean. I think I'll move the wrapping centre to the diningroom table and pack away the sewing stuff until after Christmas. I keep reminding myself of the number of folk who will be here Christmas Eve and then remember that nobody even went into that room other years.

I have a follow-up appointment with my financial gal this afternoon and need to bring a ton of documentation - she tells me I should have all my accounts at the same bank - hers, of course! Otherwise she pities my estate executors. I told her, I wouldn't care by then!

Coffee is done, dogs are dozing on the chair and it's time to get in gear. Enjoy your day and do something nice for yourself.

Good morning thanks for the coffee.

Ruth I need to sit down and do a will. It's been on my to do list for years.

No baking here this year. I'm not in a good willpower place so it's fir the best. Although Joe is off baking today and my mom sent buckeyes which will make up for my last of baking. Hopefully DS will eat them all....ok maybe not all of them

Didn't leave work until after 3, long day. So happy I took today off. After I finish my coffee and motivate myself to shower I am going to the outlet mall. Need a little something for Joe's kids, my sisters and the admin girl at work.

Hoping to squeeze in a workout and nap today. Have a great day

Good morning,

WFH day today and I just finished my only conference call of the day, just was just back to back calls. Thursday and Friday are in office, I baked cookies and fudge to take in. I did sample a few so will need to watch what I eat today.

I only have a few more presents that I need to wrap up and some friends moved and just got there new address so need to drop a card in the mail for them.

I did some stretching this morning can't take not doing any exercise at all, just gentle. I did call the doctor yesterday to give an update and see if they will schedule PT not just need to wait on decision.

Ruth I have accounts in a few banks as well. DH and I need to update our will we did it when my DS was a few months old and now he is 24.

Cottage enjoy your coffee

Cyndi it will be nice to get a break, did you hear back from the other position you interviewed for?

Jekel hope you enjoy your day off today and that crowds are not too busy.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

It's still morning here, but barely!

I got through my three days of work combined with family visiting. Kirk and I went over for breakfast at 8 AM to enjoy their company and say our goodbyes. I'm now sitting in Denver waiting for a meeting to open. Just scheduled a massage for tomorrow. I scheduled 90 minutes and ask the price she's having a sale $55. You can't beat that!

After my meeting I'm going to pick up my friend I've been visiting in Denver. She got medical clearance yesterday to change altitudes after her heart virus so she's going to come up and spend the night at our house. She can come back with me tomorrow morning when I escort my mom to a dental appointment.

We sure got a big dump of snow but the sun is shining Bryant and it's melting as we speak. It says 31° out. My sister traveled over to Glenwood after breakfast this morning. She said the roads were pretty dicey and icy and traffic was crazy. Numerous accidents. I hope it's better by the time we travel either tomorrow night or Friday morning.

Hey chicks! Another busy day: work, workout, helping DH fill the wood rack. We needed a fire today to take off the chill since we had a dusting of wet snow and it is going below freezing tonight.

Food has been ok and the scale and I are on speaking terms this week. Maybe that means I will make it through the holiday season without gaining 10 pounds. LOL

Time for dinner! (Can you believe I found a stalk of brussel sprouts still in the garden???)
