Default Time Out Tuesday Talkin' on the Beach 12/15

Where is everyone? In a time-out? (don't we wish as adults we'd have time outs?!?)

I wish I could be in a time out for the rest of the day bahaha!

Good morning,

Tywnn I hope your morning is going well.

I am wfh home today already made breakfast, have a load of laundry going and have been working for half an hour. Of course my back is letting me know but meds should be kicking in soon. I am down to only taking a night and in the morning. I am going to call tomorrow to see about PT so I can get off meds completely.

Sometime today I need to get cookies going for the exchange on Thursday.

Hope everyone has a great day today.

Thanks for cranking us up, Tammy. I was in earlier and lost my post. I should never have six tabs open at once.

Yesterday was a lot of driving and some walking and the legs are feeling it today. I'll be more gentle with my poor old body today and work at home. Just one quick trip to the local bank for a Mill deposit is on the schedule and the rest of the day I'll be home. Darned financial guru wants all sorts of paper documentation for an appointment tomorrow - including Harry's death certificate as his name is still on one account! I will take time-out to do some work on a quilt which I need to deliver before Christmas.

Lovely Christmassy evening last night as the wee children of the theatre school came carolling. My two dogs were beyond excited and had to be held back from licking the kids so I had both hands full when the wee angel handed out the candy canes. She just hung mine on my mouth! I absolutely MUST get those outdoor lights in place today!

Have a lovely Tuesday, Beachies and do something for yourself - even if it's just slathering on some hand cream.

Looks like all us old ladies with cranky bodies are in already today!

Pearl - hope they let you start PT soon, I've heard it helps a lot. I'm done with PT - I don't know if that's good or bad! I did just do my stretches, I'll do my isometrics for my arms in a bit...

Ruth - that would be so great to have carolers stop by! We did that for a few years (um, before kids, then when kids were little). Last time it was *really* cold and a lot of snow!

Pearl reminded me I need to make cookies for the teachers today - I'm making pecan pie bars. They're luscious - tastes like little pieces of pecan pie! Hopefully it will be a little treat for them .

Otherwise, I *really* need to get my mom and adopted brother's gifts. Oh, and how about my kids?!? My 10 year old girl and 12 year old boy haven't really requested anything (except things they're no way getting!). UGH. Why can't they make it easy?!?

Hey chicks! I've been reading posts on the fly but have been too busy the last few days to post.

DH and DS2 made it home safely Saturday night (am I repeating myself???) while I was at the marathon robotics event with my students. Good to see the boy but now I have to think a bit harder when I plan meals. Those 20-something males eat A LOT of food!!! I did the shredded chicken in the crock pot on Sunday and a big pot of brown rice last night so that should hold him for a day or two. Not to mention I'm still cooking dinner.....

Ruth, it was pouring so hard last night I was glad it wasn't snow! There would have been a lot of plowing/shoveling if it was.....but maybe we could have had a snow day.

I need to order 1 more present for my SIL and then get to the wrapping chore. Oh, and maybe put up a tree sometime, but I will corral DS2 to help with that.

Tammy, Pearl and chicks to come, have a great day!

Morning I feel as though my life just hits repeat everyday lol. Nothing new here at all. Started to go do down the slippery slope after a few days being off plan. So time to reign myself in again and hope for a loss this month.

Need to get the day cranking. Hope everyone has a great day.
