Default Merry Monday - December 14

Good morning from foggy Delta. I see that Linda is fogged in too. At least it's not snowing.

Had a lovely weekend with just the right balance of friends and fun plus getting things done. What a relief to not have worked the Gift Shop! The local TV station did a special show on Delta and the Christmas celebration and the village was really, really busy with visitors. Next Saturday will be even busier and I am going to work that - the final weekend.

Not going to list what I need to get done today but I am going to focus this week on balance of work and play and planning for my Christmas Eve bash. I also need to send out some email invitations for it since some folks weren't sure if the tradition was going to carry on. I have two more gifts to arrive by mail and just a few cards left to send out. Now that it costs $1 to mail a card, Ive cut way back.

So ... time for another coffee and some list making. I have an afternoon appointment to talk investments so will work in some party food shopping when I'm there.

Merry Monday to all.

Good morning!

Yes, it is another foggy morning here, and there's a horrific crash on I-95 this morning because of it. Hopefully the fog will lift before I have to leave. I wanted to stop by Dad's on my way to drop off a plate of cookies and some Satsuma Mandarins for him, but I may wait til this evening.

The next few days actually look a lot less busy than last week, but things will step up on Friday since the kids make settlement on their new house in the morning, and we'll be helping them move the rest of the weekend. Jake's brother will be coming in from Texas on Wednesday, and we have to figure out when to get together with him and his family, too. And Sunday I'll be getting together with my SILs to make and freeze sugeets (gnocchi) for our Christmas Eve dinner.

Tammy, my condolences to you and your family during this sad time.

Pearlrose, I'll be sending positive vibes your way for the 16th!

Good morning!

Tammy, sorry to hear of the loss of your mother-in-law. ❤️

Leaving hello was a fly through this morning. Company arrived last night. They are staying at my moms. I work until four today so I was trying to do too much too little time. I baked a cheesecake but I may have messed it up. We shall see later.

Happy Monday! These days are just getting busier.

Nothing new or exciting here. I did get a text from UPS I'm getting a package that needs an over 21 adult to sign for. Whoo hoo that means my aunt sent me a wine basket for Christmas!

Good morning

Ruth. Hope you get everything done on you no name list. I've cut my christmas card list too.

Linda. It will be so quiet when your son moves out. Lots of adjustment

Debbie. Hope your cheescake turned out.

Jennifer. Wow, a basket of win3 sounds great.

Tammy. Sorry to hear about for mil.

back from dd. My little grandson turned 3 and was so excited. He kept saying - I can't believe its happy birthday to me. Sad we won't see them for Christmas. I think I'm selling a wool drum carder that I haven't used in ages. Will buy an instant pot with that money. Anyone own one.
take care

Good morning,

It is a wet morning here but not foggy like it was this past weekend. I am working from home today. Hard to believe we are so close to Christmas already. I need to make some cookies for a cookie exchange on Thursday and then make some for Friday work event.

This past weekend I slipped a bit off the wagon so back on it today. Don't want to keep sliding or I will stay off and regain everything I lost not happening this time.

Tywnn sorry to hear about your MIL loss, my condolences so to your family

Ruth and Cottage stay safe in the foggy conditions

Debbie enjoy your company

Jekel I need to call the doc so they can start the referral process

Sophie I do not know what a wool drum carder is I will need to google.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

made it through Monday! We had the fog today too. Such weird weather, but we're saving a lot on heating this year.

Debbie - hope you had a chance to catch your breath today.

Now to unwind!
