Today is PT and a couple of errands. DS started a fever on Saturday, it's better but not normal today - gosh I hope it stays down now so he can go to school tomorrow! It's one of those he's acting absolutely fine, but I can't send him. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to play on his phone most of the day. Maybe I can still get the TV then?

Going to the city shortly for a meeting. May check out the holiday fair at Grand Central afterwards. I had a binge day of eating yesterday. I don't think I do well being home all day alone. Need to work on that. Despite mindless grazing I did get everything done for the week.

I've been busy with christmas preps and trip to dd for gds 3rd birthday. We are leaving on wednesday. Lots to do today. I will have the house all to myself since dh is going this afternoon to service the car.

Good morning,

It is a gray morning and a bit foggy here. I am wfh today, I am going to have to scale back on meds so I am not such a brain fog. I am supposed to go in tomorrow so we shall see what happens.

I did manage to wrap presents yesterday and did most of the Christmas cards.

I really want to do clean house since my parents are arriving tomorrow, maybe I can do in small spurts.

Another busy work day for me. This week I am staying late after school every day as one of my science clubs goes to a competition this Saturday. And when I get home I try to squeeze in a quick walk or workout of some sort which means a full afternoon. Luckily I have a full freezer: tonight it's tacobake.

Sophie, sounds like you have been busy! I am pleased with the decorating I got done yesterday but decided to leave the tree for next weekend when DS2 will be home. He can help me with it. Jennifer, when the kids were little and we were running everywhere with activities we decided a fake tree made the most sense.

Debbie and Pearl, hope both of you are feeling better.

Just a quick check-in to let you know I'm back, and Ruth's flight leaves in another hour, but she's staying overnight in Ottawa tonight.

We had a wonderful time, and I did take pictures, but they didn't turn out very well. Cape May was just gorgeous, though!

I seem to get to long enough to make sure no spammers are romping around, read the daily thread, and then I have to go do five other things
Ah well, tomorrow is another day.

Linda - was the weather perfect? Saturday was so nice here.

The holiday foods are sneaking up on me. I need to be more vigilant. Still not in the exercise groove. That has become my biggest struggle. I just hate carving time out to work out. t may take my holiday break to get back into the habit.
