What? No takers for coffee this morning? Where IS everybody?

Nothing much exciting happening here today, but the sun is shining.

DH is away, so my cuppa joe is from the Keurig....Vanilla Cream . Mmmmm. Now, if I had 1/2 and 1/2 in it!

Nothing exciting here today. I did get to Kohl's yesterday, and got some awesome tops for my son. He has a wicked infected hangnail, I even took him to the doc yesterday and he's on antibiotics. I've never seen one that bad! (and he wouldn't let me pop it, darned it!). Those antibiotics are HORSE pills, thank goodness he takes them like a champ .

DH comes home tonight. There's a ton of leftovers for supper, but that would probably make him unhappy as a welcome home dinner....

Good morning, Tammy! I'm having a Mocha right now with almond milk. Mmmmm! That hangnail must be pretty darned painful, yowee! I hope the antibiotics kick the infection right out the door soon. What are you going to make for a yummy welcome home supper for DH tonight?

Ouch Tammy poor DS! Hope it feels better quickly. Lol I guess you could make the hubby a nice welcome home dinner.

Morning Linda!

Nothing new here. Just work, work, work. At least starting Sunday I am off for a week. My exciting plans include giving the house a thorough cleaning prior to decorating. I do need to get batteries for my candles.

I also need to tighten the battery terminals in the work car. Car was completely dead last night. I was smart and did not park in my garage. They disconnected the battery during the bodywork. I still need to squeeze in an oil change for it to this week. Ugh the never ending to do list lol.

More coffee then pay bills. Have a great day.

Ouch! That's some hangnail, Tammy. If he were older, you could drug him with booze and do your thing.

Linda, I was up earlier but got entranced while reading a review of a Kingston production of Super Star. I do miss seeing (and being involved in) theater aka "Theatah"!

Jennifer, glad to hear you have some time off starting Sunday. That should ease your work stress somewhat and it sounds like you have plans.

Katherine and I completed set-up in the Mill Christmas Shop at 2 yesterday and I may not go near the place again until 3:30 Friday when there is a photo shoot for the local TV station - that being Kingston. Katherine is off to Niagara for an eye appointment and was not sure if she'd be back in time so ...

I plan to spend today working on my own stuff and making a Christmas list for a haircut and shopping trip tomorrow while Michelle is here cleaning. She can't clean the Studio unless it's tidy, right? The Christmas lights are still on the porch but they WILL happen soon! It just seems awfully early but the rest of the Village will be lit Saturday for Celebrate the Season so I need to get cracking.

Whoops! After 8 so I need to get into some work clothes and our of my cozy robe. I did get propane yesterday but could not figure out how to light the pilot light so ...

Good morning, chicks.

Tammy - I enjoyed that book too. Am slowly slogging my way through a long one that is not nearly as fast-paced but my mom loved it.

DH and I are going to run some errands together today. Priority is a pottery place where we bought our mugs, one of which he broke the other day. (Dear DH, please don't take our nice mugs out of the house. There is a reason we have travel mugs!) Also on the list are Trader Joe's and the new LL Bean store right that opened nearby.

I am now realizing I should have gotten started on holiday shopping while DH had his long stints at MIL's. He is home more the coming month so I'll have to be sneaky now. There is some drama playing out over who'll cover MIL around Christmas and I'm trying not to be so upset and hurt by my in-laws apparent lack of consideration for my husband and the few days both of my sons will be here.

Have a great day.

Ruth - THat would've been awesome to medicate him with alcohol, eh?!

Karen - LLBean!? Good thing I'm not near one, love their clothes.

Jennifer - Wow, you've got a rough schedule. Hope your time off is here quick.

Good morning!

We traveled this morning. The passes were crummy but my snow tires really are great! Headed to the pool to meet my sister and a massage at 1:30 this afternoon complements of the cancer center. Yay. Have a great day everyone! I must keep moving

Happy Hump Day everyone! Linda, didn't you see me wave as I went by the computer this morning? Didn't have time to stop but I certainly had my coffee in hand! And now I'm having my after dinner decaf.

Debbie, glad you made it through the snow safely and I hope you don't mind if I say you can keep it there for a bit longer.

Tammy, hope DS is doing better. I remember when the kids were little and had ear infections it seemed like 1 dose of antibiotics picked them up.

Have a good evening chicks.

Another evening drop in The car went to get it's snow tires on, so it was a busy morning. I decided not to wait until the day before Thanksgiving this year

Not much going on here. We are still in winter prep mode and just making the most of the sunny non-freezing days.

DH just bought me an adult coloring book and pencils. I think it will be a nice activity on snowy housebound days. I might just play with that tonight

hump day successfully completed and the weekend is around the corner.
