Default Thursday Beach Chatter, 9/10

Just time for a quick coffee and a "HI!" this morning before I'm out the door for an early appointment!

Cyndi, you are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope this "more experienced" doctor gets the rest of it.

Default thankful Thursday Sept 10

Good morning.
Today I'm thankful for the fact that it will be a bit cooler at work, and for the fact I have a good job. And that the scale was down not up today.

And for the Chicks! Anyone need coffee?

Wow, I was wondering what was wrong with my post...the merge was happening!

Thank you Beth for a cup o' Joe! Cottage, I hope your appointment is boring .

I am grateful as always for the chicks. I have been on here for over 7 years (!!!), and it is one of the few constants in my life.

Today I want to do a few errands, then an appointment, then later tonight my son has an open house at a junior high. We took them both out of a local private school (which they did great in until last year, DS did NOT last year) and they're in public now, and are doing fantastic! Great move on our part. My DD did very well in her old school, but it is fun watching her excitement over everything new.

It's raining today, and finally broke the heat. WOO HOO!

Good morning,

I am thankful today for a good report on my colonoscopy and cleared for 10 years. Today I am going into work and then tonight DD2 has soccer practice.

Cottage hope your doctor appointment goes well

Beth don't you love when the scale goes down...

Tywnn glad your kiddos are enjoying the new school. My DD2 was put in advanced math and she was dreading it but now she loves it.

Cyndi you will be in my prayers that the new doc can remove everything

Have a great day everyone

Good morning!

I am thankful that the kids and two extra dogs aren't coming up today. I need a day to get my act together. On that note, I'm going to take my coffee upstairs and get our bills paid I get the office picked up. I took a lot of paperwork over to Glenwood last week and then didn't do anything with them so I have the paperwork in boxes unopened mail and fortunately a list that tells me exactly what I need to finish. And I think I'll go out and try to get some yard work accomplished. I'd like to end the season cut up on the weeds.

Cyndi, my mom had today exact same experience as you did. Her margins were clean and she didn't like the doctor. She went back and everything got resolved. She is clean for over two years now. Best wishes as you go through the process.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Today I am thankful for a clear calendar and a chance to go to town for some vacuum cleaner bags. Doesn't take much to make me happy. I'm sure I'll find something else to buy while I'm there!

The heat and humidity has finally disappeared. It was so quiet this morning without the AC running that I actually slept in a bit. It might even be time to think of fall clothes.

Time to make a shopping list in case I hit the SuperStore for some veggies - the crisper is looking bare with just some wilted celery and some wizened baby carrots.

Good morning I'm thankful for my couch which I will spend time napping on after breakfast lol Yesterday was a long day, I didn't get home until 2 am. I am thankful that I survived my youth and have enough energy to handle my crazy schedule. Last night I laid in bed and laughed thinking I remember still being out at this hour having fun years ago. Now I woukd much rather be in bed and up early. It's official I must be growing up.

Cyndi hope the new doc takes care of this for you

Ruth the little things make me happy too

Debbie glad you have a day for yourself

Pearlrose glad you got the 10 year free pass!!!! I go again in the spring

Tammy I am so happy your kids like their new school. Have fun at the open house tonight.

Everything went smoothly yesterday. DS spent his afternoon cleaning "Annie" Yes he names vehicles lol. I sprung for the registration, title and taxes at the DMV. I knew he was going to be cutting it close money wise. Nice mom saved the day. lol

Counting down the days until I am off. Joe and I are going to a Sportsman's dinner with his parents Saturday. I really enjoy it as there are games, auctions etc. Otherwise same old song and dance here.

Thinking of you on thankful Thursday

Good morning.

Cyndi - I never heard of "tethering." Hope all goes well.

Hmmm... I am thankful that the fever I had during book club went away overnight. I am thankful for my new job which I am enjoying despite the longer hours. And am very thankful that my manager understands that I don't want to keep working nights. But I'll be REALLY thankful when I don't have any more evening shifts!!!

Today is a shorter shift at work because a coworker was looking to pick up some hours so is taking half of mine. I think I'll try some shoe shopping. With my bad feet, I have few options. I'd love to find some casual shoes that will work with the inserts I use in my "running" shoes. It would be nice to wear something else at work so I can wear some of the cute pants that don't look nearly as cute with sneakers.

Have a great day.

I am thankful I didn't give into the couch calling my name. Instead I got an indoor ride in. My boss texted me to see if I can go to a drill on Monday, mind you it is my day off. So I thought what would work best for me. I am going to work 7-3 Monday and since I already have Friday off, I am just going to swap my work days. I want to do well in my new role at work, but not sacrifice taking care of myself.

Jennifer, seems wisdom is really taking you by a storm. Referring decent sleep instead of party going at all hours, and limiting the work hours you are willing to do. Glad you are taking care of yourself.

Cyndi Prayers for your health.

Karen sympathy for "bad feet"

Debbie paper work and paying bills seems endless. I agree, I'd much rather be outside.

We've cooled off a lot today. Actually is quite pleasant.

Lowest weight in several years appeared on my scale today. Celebrated at Dunkin Donuts by NOT choosing sweets with my black coffee.

Good for you, Sandy! You are a strong woman.

Feeling perky right now after getting some good news via FB from a dear friend. I plan an early bedtime with my brain sitting in a glass jar on the dresser instead of bothering me with bad thoughts all night!
