I don't do carb day either...I think it would ruin everything I was working towards in my lifestyle change. So instead of totally depriving myself, which would inevitably lead to disaster think, I work my fixes into dinner on days where I've I had super low carbs for breakfast and lunch.
I always allow myself pasta now about once a week or two. Sometimes it goes longer between fixes. I used to go crazy and overeat...I love pesto and cream sauces

now, I fix mine and hubs plate ...mine is always half the portion of hubs but still enough. Then I put the leftovers away before I sit down to eat. It helps deter me from going back for seconds. And I swear by organic pasta.....it's only a little more $$ than ordinary if u get at Aldi or Costco. Spending on what I'm making, I add more veggies than I used to as well.
