Good morning, Beth, and I'd love a coffee! Thanks!
I was just sitting back, waiting to see who was "on first." You and Ruth were creating the thread at the same time, and I was expecting to feel the merge, LOL!
Are you ready for the students tomorrow, Beth? So far all of my Grands are very happy with the new school year, and my "surrogates", Audrey & Maggie, are excited and hopeful this year, too.
It's going to be crazy hot here today. Luckily the forecast for tomorrow was shifted downward.
Another day at work with some meetings and lots of prep. Somehow I never seem to get as much done as I should. Pearl, I teach high school science, since you asked.
Afterwards I think I will come home and exercise in the AC. 90* might be too much for me.
Good morning. We are in dense fog this morning - I can barely see the house across the road. Sure am glad I'm not driving anywhere right now. Yesterday was hot and humid and it looks like the rest of the week will be the same. Summer is making a last kick at the can! What a strange expression - I must look it up.
Paul is coming this morning to replace the door frame that Casey the hound destroyed when he was here in July. No doubt he'll sit and sip coffee and pet the dogs. Paul has never had a little dog and thinks my two are amazing! Millie adores him and leaps onto his lap as soon as he sits.
Since Paul will be here I have a good excuse to NOT go down to the Mill. I plan to get some cutting back done in the front bed and pick some more cherry tomatoes to keep the kitchen fruit flies happy!
Going up the Hill to Liz and Moel's place for dinner tonight. It will be fun as usual and I'll try to stick to plan.
Good morning hope everyone has a great day. Got home a little after 11 from work up at 5 going to work early. Ugh At least I have a dinner plans to look forward to tonight. Hope to be back later to catch up
Ruth, just fill a glass with ice, a little milk & sweetener if you like, and brew your coffee over it as usual. They do sell ice coffee pods for the Keurig, but you have to look to make sure they don't have sugar in them. Have fun with Liz and Moel this evening! No Wednesday Winers today?
Jennifer, that made for a short sleep for you! Hope your day goes fast and you can relax with dinner tonight.

I finally feel like I am getting in the flow of eating correctly, yesterday did not have any cravings, scale went down another lb this morning. Of course, tom decided to show up this morning as well lol.
WFH today have a ton of projects for work to accomplish and am going to color my hair as well somewhere in there.
Tonight DH wants to go to the base because the Rams are coming for a scrimmage not my favorite activity but I will go with him.
Beth I am impressed that is a tough class to teach to High Schoolers. We have been hitting the 90s as well this week ready for it to break.
Hello Everyone
I'm new to the forum but not new to SBD. I'm I'm Toronto, ON, Canada so it's brutally hot and HUMID here but I put on the sunscreen, grabbed lots of water and stayed in the shade to exercise. Where there's a will...you know .
I've joined this forum to stay on track, stay motivated, and stay informed. It's only my 2nd day but determination and perseverance is definitely there.
Thanks y'all for having me! Look forward to our journey!
Cheers, FR
another too busy to sit at the computer day around here. I am adjusting to the days on my feet and the noise. Monday I had an awful headache when I got home. Today, nothing at all. I like getting home early enough to get some things done. This afternoon's project was fermented salsa. I sure hope it's good, I made alot
