Good morning wanted to get that in before I forgot. Up early for the dentist. Today I am getting my crowns yippee. Very pleased with the scale as I FINALLY hit my WL goal, first time in awhile. Excellent motivation for this month. Instead of my usual "oh good lets celebrate with a reward (ie food)." My first thought was I'm getting a ride in before work, goal here I come!"

Have a great day!

Happy September to all. I too ended August actually meeting my WL goals and am going to stay focused this month.

Off to my first real day of work; the kids don't come until Thursday.

Good morning!

Thanks for getting us started, Jennifer! Congrats on your monthly weight loss goal! And great, too, for deciding to celebrate with a bike ride!

I'm just sitting outside with my last cup of coffee before work. Watching all the semi trucks go by. Apparently the interstate is closed or something. It's like a freeway on a 2 Lane St. the noise is painful for 515 in the morning

Have a great day everyone! I get off early today!

It sounds like the September rabbit brought you luck, Jennifer! Congratulations on meeting your goal!

Cyndi, I'm sorry you had to end your camping trip with being so sick and am glad you recovered quickly. Congratulations on your new job, and I hope you like it!

I'm getting back into my school-year routine with picking up the girls from school and racing all over the countryside, getting them to their music lessons on time this afternoon. It can be done, but there's no time to spare!

Wow, we're all simul-posting this morning!

Beth, the girls both had a good day. Audrey said the high school is a bit overwhelming, but she found her way with no problem, and Maggie is thrilled that a lot of her close friends are in most of her classes this year.

Wow! I turned my back for a moment and the beach got really crowded very quickly.

Spent yesterday morning at the Mill with Alisa. It was not busy at all so we sat and chatted and worked on crafts. Had a great afternoon just relaxing with my furries. I hope today brings more of the same.

Good morning,

Well, I lost all the weight I gained in August so that is something. Now to continue losing weight for September. Today is in office day with pretty much back to back meetings.

Nothing on the agenda for tonight other than cooking a healthy dinner and maybe a walk later on.

Jekel, I said those words while exercising this morning Congratulations on meeting WLG and rewarding with non food

Beth I am sure you all are gearing up for the kids to arrive, what grade to you teach again?

Debbie glad you get off work earlier and glad you were already awake with all those trucks going by

Cottage glad the girls had a good first day of school, I will have to go back and read Cyndi's post

Ruth glad you were able to have a relaxing afternoon and hope it pans out for today.

Have a great day everyone!

Just a quick drop by for me -

I ran to my surgeon's office to get my operative notes (always interesting), since I'm seeing a new neurologist today. Oh, I hope and pray she's decent, because the last one stunk. The neuro is 3 hours away, so a very kind friend is driving me! While I was at the docs, I got to lodge a complaint (the receptionist told me to, I hate causing waves...) since I submitted a note 4 weeks ago asking for a disability insurance letter, with no response. My DH and I said we'd forward our bills to the surgeon....

Wish me luck!

I totally didn't realize it was September until I read the thread!

Am rather brain dead today. Probably a combination of a late night and ragweed allergies kicking in. Will be back at work today, afternoon into evening. 30 hours this week and next but then it drops off for me. Have already mentioned to my boss that I want fewer and shorter shifts but will probably have to discuss when things settle down. Fingers crossed I don't get sick from the stress, long hours, lack of sleep, and, ahem, crappy eating.

Jennifer - Woo hoo!

Tammy - Hope it goes will with the new doc.

Cyndi - Congrats on the new job.

Off to get some caffeine. I don't usually drink coffee but my head is telling me to have a bit of Starbucks today. Either that or nap. But since it isn't even noon yet...

Have a great day.
