Default Cerazette, PCOS and Weight (mildly gross ;D)

Hi everyone

I'm just wondering if anyone could advise me based on their own experience. I have been on the mini pill Cerazette for 7 years, not so much for birth control but to control extremely heavy periods (almost hemorrhage like!) which was diagnosed as PCOS. Since then I gained the majority of my weight... to give you an idea... I was about 190lbs when I went on the pill age 16, and at age 21 I was my heaviest at 298. I'm now 23 and have been dieting on and off since then, and am currently at 274.5. I'm still on Cerazette but thinking of withdrawing to see if it makes any difference to my weight loss efforts. (Not struggling as such, but every little helps )

Has anyone had similar experience with birth control pills and weight loss/gain? Did withdrawing from the pill or mini pill aid your weight loss endeavours or hinder them? What withdrawal symptoms did you experience?

Thank you!
