It's a beautiful morning to sit outside with my coffee to greet the new day.

I'm having lunch with Tammy this afternoon in Hershey, and I can't wait! My grandkids can't believe I'm going to Hershey and NOT doing the amusement park, LOL! We'll try to remember to take a picture or two this time to share, but usually we get so busy talking, that we forget!

Not sure what's on the agenda today other than a few business phone calls. Coffee is a definite, though.

Woo Hoo!!!

I get to see Linda today!! I'm so excited! LOL...tell your grandkids I'm not allowed to go on roller coasters yet - which saddens me greatly .

Today I get to see Linda (best part!), and then I go to a physiatrist at Hershey. LOL...I didn't even know what a physiatrist was (it's a rehabilitation doctor if you didn't know either!) until they referred me to one. I have no idea what they'll do or say, but I'm hoping it's a productive trip .

That's pretty much my plans for today .

Quick check-in before I head for the Fair. We don't open until 9 but I will put up a few signs in the Ag. Hall, pet my cow and then have my annual opening-day breakfast with the Fair President,William, who will be worrying about weather. So far it looks good with only a slight chance of a shower on Sunday, the day we close.

Aside from breakfast today, I will absolutely not eat any Fair Food this year. I am always sorry when I do!

The dogs have been very well-behaved lately. Glen and Margo took them for a long walk yesterday. Jazz is in a bit of a snit but a few days of extra attention will put him back into his usual mellow mood. He spent most of yesterday guarding his morning biscuit from the two big dogs.

Got the big beef stew meat part done yesterday and need to throw in the veggies today so it can sit in the fridge overnight and mellow out. Tomorrow morning, I'll deliver it first thing to the Fair Office. Then the rest of the day is all mine!

(Dawdled over posting this and see we are underway. Have a ball, Tammy and Linda. I'll be there in spirit. Neighbour, Beth, if you left now, we could lunch at the Fair!)

Nothing new here. I finally decided to drive to VA next month. My mom was going to rent a car to drive to NC. With the layover i can drive quicker than fly. This way I can take home the wine rack my step dad made me from a recycled pallet. He found it on Pinterest lol. Both mine and my mom's car have well over 100k so a rental seems like a wise choice. Besides if I do a little shopping I can bring home some treasures.

Going to clean my temporary work car and pull some weeds before work. Enjoy!

Sounds like everyone is doing well, Cottage and Tywnn enjoy your lunch today, always nice to get to meet up.

Today is day 4 of class, gearing up mental to take exam after class tomorrow. Then we are getting up early on Saturday morning (2 a.m.) to take off for Atlanta leg of our trip.
