Hi everybody! I'm counting calories and losing slowly (hypothyroid?)
I'm happy to be here -- for support and to support others!
I feel pretty tired of counting calories, but I do accept that it's effective. My body does seem to respond to calorie deficits (just responds slowly).
My thyroid markers are high, but still under the threshold where my doctor likes to medicate someone. I have some minor symptoms (low blood pressure, low body temp) but I don't have the life-affecting symptoms (weakness, fatigue, depression), so she's holding off for now. I'll re-test at my next checkup.
I looked at some other forums on the web, but this seems to be the best and most varied, so here I am! Hope to learn a lot from all you beautiful people.
