Default 30th Birthday ideas

So i turn 30 3 weeks tomorrow and im dreading it. Part of me wants to hide under the duvet and pretend its not happening. However, my darling man wants to organise a special day out for me and a special meal.
We are thinking of going here http://www.lasal.co.uk/our-dishes/
im on a 1450 cal diet which is a low gi one/p3 SBD(ish). What do you think are my best options?
Does anyone have any other ideas of what i can do to "celebrate"?

Take an overnight trip in a local city?

For my 30th birthday, my friends arranged a surprise party at a dueling piano bar about an hour away and a reservation in the VIP section in the club they had upstairs.

Go to a bed and breakfast.
Go to a casino and gamble the night away.
Go dancing with friends.
Have a dinner party.

Be happy, my thirties have been amazing, you really come into your own and I still feel like I'm in my 20s!

all of it. The fuss and hassle of having to see my family. especially my mother. i havent spoken to her since christmas because we do not get on and i harbour a lot of hurt for things she did while i was growing up etc.
im not looking forward to the fuss and having to open gifts in front of people (i know i should be grateful for them but id rather they just didnt bother) because i dont like being watched.
My man wants me to have this big memorable day out and i just want to hide under the duvet with a bottle of wine or 2.
