Default New and Nervous

Hello! I've been visiting this message board for some time, browsing anonymously and decided to join tonight. I started weight watchers about a week and a half ago...one night this month I was eating a cheeseburger alone in bed and realized, "What am I doing!?" I have been feeling so out of touch with my body, so unhealthy, and eating from such an emotional place. I convinced my Mom to join with me, so we have been encouraging one another, and she is even teaching me some new cooking tools, I'm a take out QUEEN. I am joining so I can participate, give and receive support, and for accountability! Since my WW is online, there isn't the community of meetings.

Welcome! I'm doing WW online as well. Just getting back into the swing of cooking myself. I've really only cooked when I'm trying to lose weight; so, fortunately, I really only know how to cook healthy food. But I'm also pretty bad about eating out. I hate cooking, so I gained all my weight eating out. For me, it's taking a combination of cooking whether I like it or not and making better choices when I do eat out. I'll probably never be someone who cooks every meal. So far so good. Almost 3 weeks in and 11 pounds down. Good luck to you!

Remember, no one is perfect, so if you get off track, don't beat yourself up. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and remind yourself of the path you want to take and hop back on that train.

Weight Watches is a great program and now with the new programs they have for scanning food in the stores and tracking food, exercise etc I hear people love it even more! My daughter and I are doing a diet together too.. makes it a little less boring to have a partner. =) This is a great support system for any dieter!! Good Luck leah bean!!
