Coffee's being served!

It was a great weekend and now I'm waiting to hear whether I need to come in as usual this morning, or wait until noon since I'll be staying overnight with the girls tonight. It would be nice to squeeze one more lazy morning out of the weekend!

Pearlrose, how is your DH doing this morning? I hope he's recovering.

Just a regular day for me - off to work - oh, how exciting, we have a staff meeting. Maybe I'll get home on time today? The kids are out for the summer, so at least I don't have to prod them all morning!

Pearlrose, I had never heard of that before....had to look it up. Hope DH is feeling better!

I went downstairs early and made coffee while the pups went out and then I crawled back in bed. I'm headed down right now for my first cup. I'm heading to HomeDepot early for some bark chips. I have a project I need to finish then sis and I are going to do a small one for mom. I might try to take it a bit easy later since I head back to work tomorrow. We shall see....I'm obsessed with digging out Creeping Bellflower which has decided it wants to take over my yard. Why don't the flowers grow like the weeds? The only thing I don't seem to have is Ruth's awful bamboo.

Good morning,

It is a rainy start to the day but is supposed to stop. Thank you everyone for thinking of DH, he still is a bit swollen, but has no pain other than a bit of tenderness. I will call this morning and schedule his follow up to make sure he goes.

Today is in office day with lots of meetings.

Good Monday morning from Drizzling Delta. Looks like I'm not going to be gardening today. Good thing I got the porch baskets done yesterday. (I must remember to water them as the rain doesn't get to them because of the roof overhang.)

Debbie, I also have Creeping Bellflower in my front flowerbed. What a pest - been digging it out for years,

Linda, I hope you can enjoy another quiet morning. When do the kids get out of school?

Pearlrose, best wishes for a speedy recovery to your DH. I had to look it up too.

Some running around to do this a.m. including banking and delivery of Fair Entry tags to a school. Then, (oh joy!) Dann will pick me up and we'll go to my bookeeper's house to do some financial number-crushing as prep for tomorrow's AGM. Not my favourite way to spend a Monday afternoon.

By the way, Jazz has managed to dig under the fence once again. He was sooo happy to find me out in the back garden yesterday. One side of him is covered with balls of dry mud. He must go through on his side. I may use some of that darned bamboo to block the hole.

I wonder if today will turn out as planned. Lately the universe has not been unfolding as it should.

Good Morning. I started SBD on June 1st. My first week resulted in only 1 lb lost. Hoping week 2 is better. I am making a grocery list so I can start eating a better breakfast each day to get things going. I haven't been eating eggs like I need to. I would like to lose 15 lbs or more by mid September for a cruise. WOOHOO! Glad to be part of this group!

Hey ladies, I'm still here. Not much going on today: another day of work, some rain (I guess it means I don't have to water the garden), my workout and now burritos for dinner. It seems so simple, but I cooked a bunch of chicken breasts in the crockpot yesterday and shredded them. Burrito bowl for me, tortillas for the boys.
