Default Finally Friday and TGIF! June 5

It's a glorious morning and the dogs had a nice surprise this morning - baby bunnies on the lawn! Such dear wee things. I'm not sure who was more surprised. You could almost hear Jazz say "WTF?"

Yesterday seems to have just disappeared down the drain. I did get some plants for the porch but Sierra was late and did not get time to clean the porch. Tried to work on my financial report for Tuesday's meeting but the data from the bookeeper was the wrong file and I had to track her down to get the right stuff. Also had several phone calls from the schools asking for fairwork tags plus the usual drop-ins including one at 7:30 a.m. I hate days like that!

Today will be better. I do have a Mill executive meeting at 10:30 but plan to do a bit of planting before then. Liz and Moel are taking me out to a Thai restaurant in Brockville for dinner. It's a thank-you for looking after adorable Milo when they were in Cuba. I might work in an afternoon nap since I have the early bread run tomorrow.

That's my plan for the day anyhow. We'll see how it works out.

What's happening with you? Weekend plans?

Now please don't be jealous of my day. I am going to the Mobil shredder even one town over. I am finally getting my huge box of paper shredded. Wait there is more....then I am going to pick up Joe's Dyson from the repair center...I hope I can handle the excitement lol

Awwww, I bet those wee little bunnies were adorable! That must have been pretty amusing to watch Jazz and Millie's reactions to them, LOL! It sounds like you have a pretty activity-filled day ahead of you, and enjoy your dinner tonight. It sounds like fun!

Jake wants me to go along with him to pick up some pool supplies, and I'd like to run over to Kohl's to look at their jewelry. I need a new gold chain, but don't want to spend a fortune on it. Then there's my Friday lunch date with Dad and taking care of his business. After that I'll come home and throw in a couple loads of laundry. Such excitement, LOL!

Good morning!

I slept in a bit after going down to Denver for dinner with my brother and mother last night. Kirk started sending me messages from Alaska at 8:30 his time which was way past my bedtime. Fortunately, his issue has been resolved up there and he is moving forward with work between rain.

I'm sitting on the porch enjoying coffee with the pups but it is mandatory that I go upstairs and deal with the piling up paperwork in my office this morning I'll get things done early because I don't know what the family has planned yet.

It's hard to believe it's Friday already. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning and TGIF!!!

So Happy it's Friday, in the summertime I live for the weekends Yesterday was a bit of a challenge wfh since DD2 was bored, she wanted me to quit early to do something luckily DD1 came home and all was right in the world for DD2.

Today is another wfh day and just normal Friday work activities unless someone throws something my way.

Ruth I think you need to plan a hooky day book your calender and then either hide away or go have some fun

Jekel your day doesn't sound stressful so that makes it great

Cottage hope you find a nice necklace.

Debbie I hope you got some sleep in there last night. Enjoy your day today

Have a wonderful day everyone

Coffee was the best thing about waking up today!!! Lots and lots of black coffee in hopes it would give me energy to face the work here at the house.

DH made green eggs for breakfast, lots and lots of chopped garden parsley in omelette with provolone cheese in middle. Very tasty, healthy and filling. He is such a jewel and actually loves taking over the cooking now that we are retired.

Afternoon, ladies! We have muggy and overcast right now, probably a thunderstorm is in our near future. I did manage to get in my walk after school (Yeah!!!) and then came home and planted a few annuals I was able to bum off the ag teacher. I figure she has to clean out the greenhouse before school ends next week anyway....

Ruth, I can't figure out if the coffeepot story is funny or gross! I'll bet the bunnies were cute.

Jennifer, your day off sounds as exciting as mine. My weekend will be all niggles, hopefully with some garden time tossed in.

Cottage, hope your shopping trip was successful.

Debbie and Pearlrose, hope your days were smooth with no unpleasant surprises!

love2garden, I feel the same way about my morning coffee, although this morning I made it iced. It was great.

Off to enjoy my Friday night glass of wine. Later, chicks!
