Thanks for being so consistent with this thread Diana! You are amazing!

And I can't wait to get a full month under my belt. Had 13 days this month, want to tackle another one! Learning more about me all the time as I go. Now really feeling I know that it's the SAD that is killing my efforts and there are things I can do about that, so I feel much better. I feel like I have a chance to maintain a loss if I can control the seasonal depression. So let's go June!!,

Thumbs up

Yeah, June! Agree with BBB, thank you Diana for giving us this thread every month. It's a huge part of my (our) success.

So what am I doing? I was mainly jogging but now switching it up with elliptical and weight training. WAY less restaurant food and better food choices overall.

Let's make June a good one. I need a bikini body!

I ate well today. I only had 830 calories, but couldn't finish my dinner and am still stuffed. So, yay that!

No exercise. I kept procrastinating on my walk and then the rain began. Soon enough, rain will become an almost daily event, so it can't be an excuse. I need to get it done early. I know this. I need to stop being so lazy and do a better job with my exercising.

Great thread
I am living abroad and finding decent/healthy food to eat is a nightmare. Today I had a noodle veg broth. Best lunch on offer round these parts of the world.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Welcome back to all the regulars!

Stripes & Verywell Welcome to the check-in. We are glad to have you here with us.

Is Ian traveling again? He hasn't checked-in in a while.

Last night I added on: Tamilee Webb's Total Body Stretch (standing) and Legs up the wall pose while listening to a meditation CD
This Morning: Oxycise Level 2 workout

Calories for yesterday: 1325 +
Weigh In: 173.4
Down: 1 pound

Hopefully no TTOM for today. I am soooo over the thing. I am 1.8 pounds over pre-vacation weight. Tomorrow's weigh in will be 1 week being back on plan. I'm thinking most of the gain was water weight.

Guess who is having a birthday today? It's our little one's birthday. Cody is 2 years old today. I got him a frosted doggie cookie with Happy Birthday on it and a roasted rib bone. The bone is huge and DH thinks it must be from a Bison or maybe some type of dinosaur that we are not aware of.

Have a wonderful day and start to your week!

June will be the month I see the teens . . . My goal is to ride my bike for at least a little bit each day. I parked it in my living room instead of putting it back in the shed or the garage. I'll see it every day. Yesterday I was able to ride for 5 minutes (sad, I know) - I'm looking forward to seeing what I'm able to do in a month.

Diana - once again thank you for being you and taking care of us!

BBB - I struggle with depression as well . . . I have dealt with clinical depression for years. Some days, weeks, months (****, minutes) are worse than others. I had some really, REALLY, rough patches during April & May. I started a blog where I can write anonymously/honestly - it helps some. Recently anxiety has decided to join in on the fun - . Hang in there!

Novangel - good luck with switching up your exercise and the food choices.

Stripes - good luck on getting your exercise in. I have the same problem - I do very little. Maybe make it a priority to come here every evening and post what you did that day. Sometimes knowing you have to share with "the world" will motivate you enough to get you moving. I know when I was posting my food every day it made a difference of what I put into my mouth.

Verywell - good luck with finding healthy food where you are living.

Happy June, everyone!

I got up early to drop Jason (hubby) off for his EEG. came back home for breakfast and listening to the pitter patter of rain.

W 148.8 (down 4 pounds from the beginning of May check in)
B egg on toast and coffee w milk

I really need to make a soup to keep my calories down. I had no soup and struggled all last week.

Verywell, what country are you living in?

Diana, happy birthday to Cody! Lol at the dinosaur bone.

Diana, happy 2nd to your fur baby.

Today I went for my check-up lipid panel after 3 months on Lipitor. It will be interesting to hear the results since my cholesterol has been high my entire life.

I'll be heading over to the gym and Costco. Love that store. I'll probably pick up Salmon for dinner.

BBL. Have a good one, all.

I dont' recall your diet, but seriously, eating lower carb reduced my cholesterol A LOT. I think my mother in law took notice as I now see she eats much more low carb than before and guess what? She has the lowest cholesterol than she's had in a couple decades.

Just something to think about - it doesn't work for everyone (and it's not perfect) as I'm learning eating low carb is probably adding to my winter blues, but well... nothing is perfect, is it?

Happy Birthday, little doggie.

So you post your foods and calories from the previous day? Not bad! Public accountability. Could be motivating!

Calories: 858 (excellent!)
Exercise: none (very bad)
Weight: 174.8 (same)

B: cottage cheese with wheat germ, peaches (141)
L: fruit slop (mixed berries, mushed up and mixed with granola) (271)
D: edamame succotash (another made-up name) (446)

I'm glad that my first posting doesn't include "three quarters of a cake."

Hello all,
Just got caught up on May's thread.

Diana happy birthday to Cody! I think Ian might have gone to Cape Town, I think I read that he was traveling pretty quickly after getting back from Boston.

We're having a cool drizzly day, sapping my energy level. Could also be jet lag from working to get our veggie garden set up, glad that's done, would be miserable, muddy mess today. Food was good today.

MadetoThrive congrats on the biking, sounds great!

Hope everyone is doing well

Kris Great job on the bike!

CoolMom Congrats on the 4 pounds for the month!

Stripes Ha Ha I'm sure the "three quarters of a cake" has been posted about. It's always amazing the things we do. We have our moments.

Lotsakids Welcome back. Great job on the workout.

Kelijpa Thank you for the info on Ian. What did you plant? Anything new and different than before?

Waving Hi all around! Enjoy your evening!

A good on plan day today. Tomorrow I am having a sleep test to see if my CPAP needs adjusting. My DW says I am snoring while using it. I told my Pulomologist this and he scheduled me for a sleep test. The last one I had was about fifteen years ago. This seems to be my week for doctors. On wednesday I see my Hemotologist who is following my anemia then on Thursday I have two appointments, one with the Gastroenterologist for routine follow up and my Eye Doctor for a follow up. He told me on my last visit that I have the precurser to macular degeneration. So these are the Golden Years? At least I have kept my sense of humor.
