Default Trilling Thursday May 7th chat

Hey good morning, chicks! Thought I'd stop by for a moment before taking out the garbage and say hello!

We have another beautiful sunny spring day here. The flowering trees are starting to bloom, the peepers are very loud and so are the birds. I am making garden time, even if only a 1/2 hour, a priority after work every day.

Nothing special on the agenda for me today, just work, my exercise and maybe some weeding in the perennials.

Anyone need coffee to get started??

I love Ruthie's response. I'm on board with that!

Beth - you sound ambitious today!!
Ruth - hope you find your shine
Linda - XOXO Have a great day

For me - it's a day off - but packed. I have awesome connections, so my surgeon squeezed me in today for an appointment, so I can get a repeat MRI to see what's going on. I'm going to intentionally fatigue myself (that means 1/2 mile walk) so they can see my legs trashed. I also have a budget meeting for work, and a lunch date (with my awesome connection, LOL), then a NAP since I woke up way too early!

I won't even talk about food - I eat what doesn't make me nauseous (what doesn't tend to be SBD compliant). I'll worry about that later!

BTW - spring has really sprung here!! Oh, the green makes me SO HAPPY!!!

Good morning! I slept in a little bit and am just sitting outside with my coffee trying to figure out my day. It looks like it's going to be cool and rainy.

Tammy, sending you good vibes for your appointment today!

Have a great Thursday everyone!

Good morning I was up very early. We were exhausted and went to bed early. Unfortunately I was achy and couldn't get back to sleep after 4. It will be an afternoon coffee kind of day again.

Today is my last active day of work. I have been connected to this organization for five years, through many life changes. Hard to believe it is really over. I actually quit in 2011 but they lured me back on contract or a year until I came back full time. There is no going back now. Funding for this project is done and I have no desire to work on another campaign. This is work for 20-30 somethings, not 50 somethings. I am looking forward to a few months in my garden, thinking about my next career. In the meantime, one last task I left until the last minute

Garbage is out, kitchen is cleared and I'm still not dressed. Felt pretty crappy when I got up but a decongestant seems to have worked. Maybe the throat is from a sinus infection. I've also got some anti-bacterial Cepacol - sugar-free. I'm hoping that will get my voice raised to more than a croak - the dogs give me funny looks.

Jazz and I did pet therapy yesterday at the clinic. He was not very interactive with the clients - just wanted to sleep on laps. I think all the silly playing the three dogs do must be very tiring. I drove home the "back way" and spotted what I thought was a white and green patterned sheet. It was an incredible crowd of trilliums that were not there last week. This warm weather is bringing everything early!

There will be a "lad" here at 9 to do some digging to try to alleviate the water problem and get the dogyard drained. (The flowing well is another problem but a ditch will help get the water out of the yard and that's my priority.) Then at 11 Michelle arrives with her daughter Sierra to clean. Sierra is a good kid (19) and will be taking over some of her mother's cleaning jobs this summer. Right now she's "in training" and I hope she turns out as good as her mother.

I'm not sure what else will be happening except I need to pull together a costume for Saturday's performance and think about my speech. There's always something, isn't there? No time to be sick or allergic or just "old".

Have a lovely day.

Good morning,

The sun is shining but the forecast says not for long We should be getting afternoon showers we are definitely watching the weather and DS GF graduation is Saturday and they are calling for rain.

DD1 flunked out of one her nursing class and she is depressed, she is so close to finishing that it is hard to watch. I need to find out if in the fall she has just 1 8 week class left to take and if so this could be her second one and she will still finish at same right or if she will have to go
the whole semester. She studies so hard which makes it harder.

Cyndi I hope you have a wonderful summer off and a job that lines up with your needs falls into your lap

Ruth hope your dogyard drainage works.

to everyone else

Today on tap is finalizing sale of DD1 old car, taking DD2 to doc for ingrown toenail and trying to get some work done for work since it is a wfh day for me as well.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good morning.

Tammy - I hope you get some answers.

Cyndi - thinking of you on your last day.

I've got book club tonight. I'm going to hit the mall again today. Have to return the bras I got for MIL and order a different size. Will shop for nice-ish pants to wear to DS's graduation; the weather forecast isn't what I expected so I probably won't be wearing a sundress that I already own.

Have a great day.
