I got up to let the pups out and got sidetracked....I am going back to bed after a cup of coffee. Thought I'd might as well get us started this morning.
Nothing much new here it's still raining. Work today then I might head down to Denver for a meeting this evening.
Fly-bye post this a.m. I have the Mill Board here this morning at 9 and do not have any filters for my group coffee maker. The store isn't open until then so I am going to go down to the Town Hall and snitch a few. The Keurig gave me one mug before I realized it can't handle 14 except on the installment plan. I may grab the large coffee maker when I'm there.
Good morning! And everyone sounds pretty busy already!
My back was giving me too much grief to sit long enough to get on the computer so I decided to take a break from it over the weekend. I am still feeling stiff, but a lot better this morning. It's a good thing I don't have to go over to the farm until after lunch! The girls are flying home and going straight to school from the airport, and Cindy won't be getting home with the horses until tonight, so I'll be staying until she gets back.
It looks like your rain is heading here today, Debbie!
My new computer has me frustrated. Some things worked well, like transferring over files and most settings. Some things are not going well. We can't find two of the software programs that I use frequently - one is for photos (and I haven't done my Ecuador trip yet!) and one is for using my scanner. I'm also getting a continual pop-up with email about a password. But at least I'm getting my emails! Sigh.
Off to the gym soon then getting my hair done this afternoon.
I am trying a new thing - no coffee. I don't think this is going to last! LOL. I has some iced herbal tea and a V8 but I think I miss my coffee!
As of this morning, I am officially 30 pounds under my start weight from Jan 3rd!I just started working out 2x a week. We'll see how that goes - still in a ton of pain and am starting infusions this week. At least no more self-injections!
Hopefully, I will be able to pop on over more often. Stay well!
Good morning We still have a couple of weeks of work, but very little work, so I am working on relaxing starts to my days. Now, of course, I'm out of time and need to get out the door Somethings don't change.
Jenn - I would seriously hurt someone without coffee. Good luck!
No coffee????!!!!! Now, why would you do that to yourself, Jenn? That's my biggest motivator for getting out of bed in the morning! Congrats on that awesome weight loss! That's terrific!
I got some niggles done and picked up a nice piece of salmon at the grocer's to have a nice supper waiting when Cindy gets home tonight, and I still have 2 hours before I have to leave for work. I could get used to this!
I have trouble sleeping - and since I am on all these meds anyway and have lousy stomach issues, I wanted to try no coffee (I used to get a venti unsweetened iced coffee and notice lately that I get through only 2/3 or 1/2 of it). I wanted to start drinking more tea so I am only going to try it for a work week and drink tea instead of my coffee.
Hey chicks! I've been reading the weekend posts to catch up. I left asap after work Friday (had to stop at home and pack my back-up snacks) and came home late yesterday afternoon. Of course, when I got home I had to do the grocery shopping and once I sat down after dinner I was so tired I went to bed early.
Cottage, my conference was sponsored by Syracuse University at their conference center in the Adirondacks; only about a 2 hour drive for me. It was very interesting and the scenery was beautiful.
Ruth, I'm really over this snow and below-freezing thing. Isn't it supposed to be May soon??
Jenne, your weight loss is awesome! You must be happy with the progress.
Cyndi, glad you enjoyed your trip and baby time.
Sounds like the chicks were busy today. Hope is was a Marvy Monday for all!
