Default Targeting Specific Spots

I'm interested in any tips, exercises, etc you may use to target specific areas. I HATE how big and flabby my arms are. And of course, the dreaded belly fat. I have looked online and read and tried several different ones, but I'm interested in what works for you.

There are exactly three ways to target specific areas of the body for sculpting: Weight training, if you or your trainer know how to do it; liposuction or implants. Period. If anyone tells you otherwise they are mistaken.

Doing crazy amounts of sit ups, for example, while eating in a caloric deficit will not make you lose belly fat if you lose weight. It could come off your hips, thighs or tummy, your metabolism and where your body preferentially stores fat dictate where you lose, nothing else.

I meant weight training type moves that have worked. Perhaps I didn't phrase my original post properly. I do not have, nor can I afford, a trainer.

If I had to pick one exercise to recommend, it would be a plank. That will strengthen both your arms and and your abs, and it doesn't require equipment or a trainer.

Renew Me is right. Your body will lose the fat from wherever it chooses to. But at least you'll have some muscle tone when the fat goes and increasing your muscle will increase the number of calories you burn.

ReNew Me is kinda right.

You can't target fat loss on any specific part of the body but you can target muscle gain and in some places better than others.

The belly is anyone's guess. That depends on losing fat there. You'll never get the muscles big enough.

But triceps, theoretically you could do a lot of bicep and tricep curls and big up those guns.

That's been my experience. Work the arms. And lose the weight. And you might get both.
