I'm on another huge forum (makeup related but has sub forums for all issues and most recently, an over 40 board) and a lot of gals were saying that when they hit peri and menopause, that weight gain WITHOUT changing their diet and exercise, happened.
i do obviously see how hormonal changes really affect the body and i being 52 have especially noticed how weight patterns have shifted on my body but since losing 100 lbs at age 49, i'm maintaining and frankly all of these stories of how suddenly they all gained weight and cannot keep it off, scare me.
i know everyone is different, obviously..but has anyone here really dealt with this? i don't think i could live on 1,200 calories and intense daily exercise
