Hi everyone and I'm so happy to meet you all! My name is Sherry and I am in Dallas, TX.
I am smack dab in the middle of my goal, but I hate calling it a 'diet', because I never want to go back to how out of control I was! I am 5'1, 43 now-wow-and I got up to 212 after a bad break-up. I am now 154, and my goal weight is back to my normal weight which is 112. Remember I'm short and pretty petite.
The past two weeks I don't know what has been going on, but I haven't been eating right and it has scared me. I've decided to take back my dignity, take the reigns and also become a part of this community! Time to get right back on track!
I hope to make some great friends here, and I wish all of you well. Please contact me anytime.
Keep doing it... and keep visualizing the day when your dream body will spark right infront of your mirror. If we have a dream we need to protect it from failure... Obstacles and procrastinating.
Just doing a bit everyday... This is all what it takes... Stay blessed & keep shredding
Hi Sherry! I asked my "naturally thin" friend about her eating and she said
sometimes she has off days where she knows she eats too much and days
where she eats too little and days when she eats just right, I think maybe
everyone does but when someone like me has a too much day it really can
do a number on my confidence. So I need to realize this is normal for
everyone, I suppose, and not let my too much day rattle me and just make
sure I have just right days which does compensate and every thing averages
out. I get impatient with it all but have to remind myself this is an on going
thing that never ends and try to be at peace. Anyway.... may we all know
good health and peace of mind with what we are doing!
"I hate calling it a 'diet', because I never want to go back to how out of control I was!" That's great mindset to have Don't beat yourself up about losing track of your diet for a while. We all have that happen. The only thing that matters is that you're getting back on track now!
It's been a little while and I just wanted to thank everyone who graciously replied. Great support and advice. I am back on plan and I have lost 14 more pounds since then. Thanks guys!!!!
