Talking Just Looking to start a small support group

Hi girls. My name is Jessyka and I am looking to start a small support group. I have been through the yoyo of diets, gaining and loosing and I am sick of it. I want to loose my fat baby. I have about 60 lbs to loose and I don't want to loose with a diet, but rather a lifestyle change.

Just looking for other girls for support who need to shed more than 30lbs.

A little about me; recently newlywed jan 6th 2014. I am 5'6 and weight 189lbs. I use to be 135 when I met my DH but as you all know when your in love you sure to pack on the weight. And I did pack it on. I plan to loose the weight through strength training and jogging/walking 6 days a week. I can get pretty intense with working out so if your into intense working out and need help staying committed I'm your girl.

Hi! I have been searching for some online support myself and we sound like we are around the same place. I am 5'7" and at 182. I lost 40 lbs with IP but fell off the wagon or just was tired of the strict diet. I haven't gained any back but joined the gym and was trying to loose about 20 more. I have been working out 6-7 times a week with no loss. Now I know i have been gaining muscle but the lack of progress on the scale is starting to frustrate me. I am trying to work my way back to the IP diet if only for a short time. Anyway, I have been looking for a good online group. Any rec's?

Hi!!! I am in the same boat 5'6" and 183 pounds ugh! I was 155 pre pregnancy and was comfortable at that size. I would like to lose 40 pounds though so I have room to gain 5 pounds. I got up to 221 pounds after delivery due to getting preeclampsia. I'm down 20 pounds in fluid but I still look 5 months pregnant. I'm going to try counting calories and walking/jogging to start. I would like to add in some strength training as well I have to find a work out dvd.

Hi I'm in the same boat as well I'm 184 and 5'7. I really need the help and support to lose this weight. I used to be 128 and I've gained so much weight because of stress and bad eating habits. I recently started exercising but I still have indulgences. I have a big sweet tooth. I would love to give and receive support!

There's a great 180s thread in the 100 LB. forum...not too many people, but all in the 180s, checking in frequently, very encouraging! You should check it out!

Default hey girls.. glad your on board

Seems like we are all the same height and weight. What are your girls exercise routines and diets? Im running/jogging 45 minutes a day 5 days a week and eating mainly veggies and little meat. no wheat. small portions of sugar ( coconut sugar). I use to be on the atkins diet and that was great but just couldn't handle that much meat. I notice i get less bloating with a more vegetarian diet.

Hi ladies, you all sound like you are in the same boat as me. I need to lose about 35-45 lbs, I'm 5ft 2 so I don't carry excess weight well I eat okay but I snack a lot and because my husband has a very sweet tooth there are always temping foods around. I'm doing a combo of jogging and yoga at the moment, working out about 5 days a week but I need to sort the food issue out.

Hey girlie. Welcome. what I have noticed what works for me is this:
1. I allow myself to eat fun foods (cookies, cake, greasy sandwiches) as long as I eat a small portion. and I am talking like 1 little cookie, or a 1/2 of a 1/2 of sandwich. When i was cutting out all fun foods I got so sad, and than when i lost enough weight i binged and gained all the weight back. So I think allowing a little here and there helps.
2. I watch my dairy, red-meat and flour intake. For me I dont eat any flour, unless its a small little piece of cake. I dont cook pasta at home and no bread. I bloat real bad with processed flour and breads. Red-meat is great but i try to limit that to once a week or twice.
3. Lots of water before a meal. I can eat for 3 people but i try not to anymore. When I feel hungry I drink a huge glass of water. If im still hungry I drink one more and if i still am after that I eat.
4. I dont do any crazy water, juice or 500 calories a day diet. That for me doesnt work and in the end you just hate your diet. I try to make changes that I know I will stick with for life.

Hope this helps. Im am here for u girl and I am sure the rest above are too..
