  • Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.

This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to stay dry in the boat and not fall out.
  • I've gotta change up my goals. Got too wet on the last leg.

    I'm going to try to:
    1. Say NO to food in the car unless I bring it from home.
    2. Stay within my WW points and....
    3. Not use my extra points for unplanned eating.
  • This boat is too big for one or two people to row. Hope a few folks will jump in on this leg.

I met all 3 of my goals yesterday. Feeling good about it and rowing strongly.
  • I'm in. I have been lurking. Judy and Vortex, you ladies are encouraging!
This leg I am going to focus on exercising every day.
  • Hi Ubee, glad to have you aboard.

For this leg, I want to

    1. get at least 30 minutes a day of cardio + 30 minutes of yoga 3 times a week
    2. really get ALL my water in
    3. stick to WW points, trying to use less than half my weekly points (as many less as I can manage).
  • PS: Yesterday was dry.
  • Got a bit damp yesterday. Challenged goal #1 " Say NO to food in the car unless I bring it from home." But was able to absorb it w/o using extra points.

Welcome back Ubee. Good going Angela.
  • Thanks for the welcome ladies!
    Yesterday was dry.
  • I fell out of the boat tonight. I did exercise today and worked on water, but lost it on eating.

    Tying myself down for tomorrow.
  • Vortex make sure you use good sailor knots!
    Yesterday was dry.
  • Angela, Here's the super strength velcro. One strip to attach to your bottom and one for the seat. I'm using it today too. Still having problems with eating junk in the car. At least it's not fast food.

    Ubee, Good Goin'.
  • Dry yesterday! Lost a bit over half a pound this week.

Velcro works. Ubee, here's a warm fluffy towel and two strips of velcro for ya.
  • Judy!!!
Yesterday was dry only because I did not want to let our team down. I have not formed a habit yet. I was in my nightie and I thought of you ladies so I put on my tennies and went downstairs and I did well!
  • Go Ubee!!!!

I was dry yesterday and it looks like I'll be shoveling today. We had close to a foot and we were on the west edge of the storm.
