I joined 3FC back when I was 27. And then totally forgot about the site. I somehow came across it again yesterday and after figuring out my handle and PW I signed back in. So I'm trying to re-join and get back into it all.
I'm Tiffany, 30 yr old single mom of 2 girls (11 & 6). I lived in NY my entire life, until I moved to NC ins 2008. I've always been over weight. I got to my highest weight ever last month and decided to finally do something about it. Then I got sick with a serious kidney infection that passed into my blood infection. All do to a kidney stone I had no idea I even had until 2 days later. The day I got really sick my fever got up to 103.5 and I knew I had to get to the ER. I waited until the girls left for school the next morning. At that point they said it was just a kidney infection turned into sepsis. Scary. I was admitted and the next day after a CT scan I found out I had a 6mm stone. I had that removed last week...2 wks after. Anyway new look on life being told if I had waited it out I would have died. So since being released from the hospital I lost 9 lbs. A big start for me. I can't wait to see the new thinner me in my future!
