Default I'm not a fat chick...but I am trying to lose weight!

Actually I am not a chick at all the last time I checked!

Overweight middle aged guy here trying to lose about 100#. We will see. I have embarked on the Medifast program on the recommendation of two of my male friends who lost a combined 130# over about a 6 month period, so.....

I will check in here and update, but after 8 weeks of the program, I am down 22 pounds. I wish it was more, but it is headed in the right direction.

I have started a blog to somewhat hold myself accountable. I am using it to document my days (when I remember), feelings, exercise, and most importantly the weekly weigh ins. If anyone is interested....

Welcome. My husband is doing this with me. We are basically doing low carb, which really for us right now just means not eating the junk we normally would.
