I am 40+ and have hashimoto disease and over the last year and half I put on 45 lbs and needed to already lose 15-25 lbs before that. The harder I tried the more I ate....I made me so upset with myself. I am a photographer so I am never in front of the lens, always behind it. Final straw for me was seeing a picture of myself from our family vacation in June. I had a good friend who was always heavy loose about 60 lbs and keep it off with Ideal Protein. I talked to her for a while over a month and finally made a call and a commitment. Sadly I have to be accountable sometimes to make me do things. SO I am finishing up my 3rd week...the first week was great...I lost 8 lbs...but my second week I only lost 3 and lost lean mass. :-( I have such a chaotic schedule and 2 kids that play in sports competetivly. if I don't prep I am stuck starving...and I think that is what is happening. I also broke down this week and bought a bag of pork rinds which have zero carbs...but I know read (after consumption) they are not good on this diet because it is Low carb low fat low calorie diet.
:-( Anyhow trying to stick to it...it is too pricy not to do it right. Lets hope I made a jump in the possitive direciton for this next weigh in on Monday. Would love some help.
Also I always work out...1-2 hours a day and they told me I can't so I haven't and it is making me crazy...
