Height: 6',1.5"

Default New to the board but not weight issues

I consider myself a yoyo dieter due to my swings in weight. In my adulthood I have been as high as 302 and as low as 205. At least 3 times I have lost and regained at least 60 pounds. I lose and gain the weight back fast. My last swing was from 288 lbs on 2/9/12 to 228 lbs on 4/15/12. The next time I weighed was 6/3/13 and I was an all time high of 302 lbs.

My favorite diet is the low carb/high fat type but coming off of it is my problem. I immediately jump back into eating unhealthy and have no idea why. It's nothing for me to drink a gallon of sweet tea a day and I do some major damage at buffets. Today at 294 lbs I am again beginning another trip downward, hopefully for the last time.

Welcome DarthManX,

I am new also and know the feeling of coming off a diet and regaining everything back. I finally found what works for me and it took awhile cause I tried all the diets: Atkins, juicing, Weight Watchers, etc...). Counting calories is the way for me. I still work in my favorites but in moderation so I don't feel deprived. Like tonight I am having tacos but instead of rice and beans we are having a salad with it.
