Height: 5'8"

Default Sore nipples then bled

Ever since I started running, my nipples have been very sore.

Today, one started bleeding.

Ouch.

Goodness! You got me confused....thought I was looking at the pregnant/nursing forum at first!

Vaseline. No cotton T-shirts. Band-aids (prolly should shave 1st if you go that route)

DS runs XC, & parents were warned. Always wondered why so many otherwise bashful boys went shirtless while running in public!

Ouchie...hope it gets better!

yummy! CHAFING! A runner's dream come true!

Vaseline, like what SMF said. Or a product called Bodyglide. Or Talcum Powder. Also, make sure to have the clothes that breathe while running...microfiber is it? Bandaids...or here's a weird one...tape. And if you have a hairy chest, might want to uhm...shave it a wee bit. The hairs can cause abrasions.

I am only in 15 minutes of run time, so I am not quite to the point of pain yet...but it is a part I dread so I look up all the itty bitty tips. Hope it gets better for you.

I had to google pasties. But they would certainly do the job!

With tassels?

Wink

Lanolin, I am surprised no one has mentioned it yet. I have a tube of Lansinoh, an over the counter tube of Lanolin that a doc told me to use because my skin gets so dry. It is very thick and moisturizing.

Good luck!

Just make sure the tassels aren't cotton!

Definitely go with tassels. I would recommend cutting holes in your tee shirt so that you can thread the tassels through and show them off! I'm thinking some shiny gold ones!
