My numbers have gone WAY too up!

  • Hello ladies/gents,
I've started this new diet for myself this summer, and I was wondering what you guys think. It would start off by a bike ride around my little town(a mile & a 1/2 i think) and then i go home and have breakfast, wait till noon to eat lunch, and then wait until supper to have anything. Does this sound like a good diet? Post a reply to suggest anything else i could do, thanks!
  • Some suggestions. First make sure you eat a well rounded meal plan and cut the empty calories. The idea is great but what happens when there is rain? or much wind or when fall comes and it gets colder. make sure you have a back up exercise.

also put your food into www.fitday.com that way you can see where your calories are coming from and if you are meeting your min requirements. If you do not meet your min requirements then your body will slow down it's metabolism then you can try all you want but will not lose much weight. Also by puting your food in fitday then you will know you have to write your intake down and that is the first step realizing the food that you eat.

how much do you have to lose??
  • Hey sue,
I would like to lose about 30 pounds in the summer, and I wouldn't eat the same thing everyday but that's just what i ate yesterday. And if it rains I have a tredmill that I can walk on. I went to that website and I'll give it a try. Thanks again!
  • Good luck it does sound like a plan. The biggest thing is to keep tract of the food and realize how much you do put into your body. I keep saying it is the mindless eating that does me in. I do not think when stuffing it in but after i feel like cra@ then get down on me then eat more. If i stopped the first time I would do great. that s why i say write it down accountability is very important.
