A year of laziness packed on pounds... now I'm here!
Hi everyone! I'm 23... the past year I've cut my work hours down (I'm a bartender) and I found myself on the couch more. I also started eating a LOT of fast food... I never have dieted in the past because despite my bad eating habits I usually stayed pretty thin. It's probably because I was a pretty active person. Lately I've found myself having absolutely no energy whatsoever, and I think becoming inactive and bad eating habits are to blame.
I'm now 153.6 when I woke up this morning according to my scale... My first "goal weight" is 130, although if I could get to my 111-115 I was THIS TIME LAST YEAR I would be pretty darn happy!
I'm excited to meet all of you and have people to talk to about my weight loss. I'm currently going to exercise a few times a week (it's a start!) and keep my calories under 1200 max, but I'm aiming for approximately 1000 a day because my BMR is somewhere around 1500, so that puts me at a 500 calorie negative. Hopefully this is a pretty good plan... because my calorie intake was probably waaaay higher than that before today! I bought a scale at Walmart after not having one for a long time last night and I knew after seeing that number that things have GOT TO change!
