Default Feeling very blah today

Im feeling very unwell today and hope I can get through the day without blowing it. I am actually the opposite and don't want anything. I feel like it is going to take me forever to accomplish anything. I am also wondering from anyone who has succeeded, I just wonder because self esteem is pretty low right now. Thanks for listening.

Just a suggestion: get outside for a walk. The fresh air will help to make you feel a bit better
And yes losing weight gives you more self esteem.
When I started losing weight, I actually started wearing makeup!
Take it day by day. It takes patience but it's so worth it.
I hope you feel better soon

Hi marymo, I hope you are feeling better. I agree with the poster above, try to go for a walk and get some sunshine.

I have had some days lately where I just feel blah too. I look in the mirror and see none of my progress, only seeing the ugly parts of weightloss (droopy arms, thinning hair, etc.) and I have mentally made the decision to try and celebrate myself going forward. Look at my big healthy eyes that aren't hiding behind the heavier face I had, look at the jeans I can finally wear from my closet that are 10 years old, look at how I can finally wear my wedding rings again.

It's so hard to focus on the positive, there was so much negative in the past. But the most important thing to remember is the blah will pass and we don't want to do anything to sabotage our efforts and successes so far!!

We all have those blah days and the days where we feel like we will never meet our goals! When I have those days I turn on some good music, dance around, go to websites like Pinterest for fitness and weightloss motivation and that usually helps me. Also, yes weight loss will increase your selfesteem!!! Stay focused on the goals ahead of you instead on the way you feel right now. You can do this!!!!
