Isn't that weird? I've always found that on the way down, there's a place where I feel like I look worse, not better. I think it's just because your body has changed, so the clothes that flattered you before don't anymore. It's really temporary, though--and even just a matter of finding what looks best on you at this new size. Congrats on your weight loss!

I have not felt fatter than when I started but have definitely been depressed at the store. I almost always try on stuff initially that is way too tight for me in the false confidence that it will fit only to have a nasty experience in the changing room. But I keep going and find something that does fit and does look nice. More often than not it has a lot to do with the cut. In other words, I CAN fit into the size I thought I would coming into the shop, just not in the STYLE I had hoped. So I can't fit into tight fitting pants. But straight fitting ones I can. Whereas before it was relaxed fit or nothing. So I get my pleasure from finding that middle ground and it helps me stay on track.

Congrats on your loss so far. That is awesome!

Aww, I'm sorry your shopping trip was a bummer!

Any chance Aunt Flow is about to make her monthly visit? I woke up this morning feeling way bigger than I did 30 pounds ago and just all around gross. Got on the scale, and it was a number I haven't seen in 7 years, since my teens. I still felt huge and slow and icky and then AF showed up. Ha! So I'm chalking it up to that.

I hope this feeling passes quickly for you and you can celebrate your awesome loss with some new clothes you feel great in! Twenty six pounds is fantastic!
