Default Why do I feel like this??!!

I am honestly on the verge of tears right now because of my frustration. I mean I haven't gained weight or anything but I feel like I have had a terrible week, I mean I admit my eating habit have been a little of whack this week because of spring break and all but it was not really that bad and I have gone to the gym 5 days of the week. I have already lost five pounds and I just need to loss three more pounds by the end of march to reach my goal for the month, but I still feel like I have not made any progress even though people are telling me I look skinnier and my cloth are fitting more loosely. HELP!!! what's wrong with me.

Just sounds like a bump in the road. U are probably just having a bad week and will feel better next week. I have days or weeks of self doubt. I even notice times when I eat poorly and that affects my mood.
It took me at least 20 lbs loss to notice a difference so just keep trying and eventually u will see the changes. Cheer up!

Personally I never set goals of losing a certain amount by a certain date... because that is not something I can control and is often a setup for failure. I set goals which it is my *choice* whether to meet them or not!

You are doing great. Hang in there

Nothing is wrong with you!
I'm going through the same thing as you are. For this entire month the number on the scales has hardly moved, but I have lost fat off my body. In my first month of exercising, I lost 0 kgs but I saw that I had lost a lot of fat -and then in the following month I lost 3 kgs!
Are you eating healthy foods, or relying on exercise to bring your weight down? More weight is lost in the kitchen than it is in the gym.
Just keep doing what you are doing because what you are doing sounds like it's working!

Nothing is wrong with you. You are doing great. We are all human and get anxious and frustrated at times.

In my weight journey I have enjoyed making weight by date kind of goals but have rarely reached them exactly on time. But that's okay because eventually I've gotten there.

Keep going and enjoy the ride.

I'm a goal-setter as well. It does get frustrating; I do understand. But try to be go easy on yourself. Unfortunately, our body doesn't always react the exact way we want it to. Everything will even out in the end.

**I needed to type this for myself as well** I'm a goal-setter and extremely impatient.

There is nothing wrong with you, ruthali!

Some weeks are easier than others but somehow we keep plugging along!

2 weeks left to lose 3lbs is definitely something you can achieve (I have 8 to do, gulp!) but if you don't, there is always April!

I set my goals with the time and pound limit just to see if I can get there, if I do then great and if I don't there is always another one to set!

You are making great changes in your life and you surely will be a healthier person regardless of the timetable it takes. I wish we could just mark the calendar with the date and loss wished for and be done with it!

I hope today is a better day for you, hang in there. We are here for you.

I'm finding that the more I'm focusing on the "slips" the less I'm noticing what I AM doing on track ... and then the less-than-stellar choices get bigger in my mind. My goal this week: to do something special for someone different every day this week (nothing MAJOR, but something that'll take a little thought). Take the focus off me and my mental whirling around food.

Thanks guys, I real appreciate all the encouragement. I just have to realize my body did not get this way in a month so it's gonna take some time before it gets to what I want it to be, it just hard sometimes.

I am the same I don't see a difference in my body but others are telling me I look great and my clothes fit a lot looser . Keep your head up and keep going don't give up now just because you don't see a difference give it a few more months or to be more realistic even a year and you'll notice a HUGE difference in yourself . It took more than a month to put it on so it'll take more than a month to take it off , keep in mind that just one pound of fat = 3500 calories so yes it will be hard to take it off , is it impossible ? No , it's not . You can do it , just keep your head up and think about how it'll all pay off in the end .
