Default Newbie and stuck!!! :( In need of buddies to motivate me!

Hi! I'm new here so I'll give a brief introduction of myself. I'm Chewyi! I'm 5' and currently weigh about 136lbs. My goal is to lose about 25lbs overall. But I want to lose at least 10-15lbs by the midyear. I'm having some difficulties in losing weight. I started going to the gym last June but there has been no progress whatsoever and I've also tried eating less but nothing seems to making the weight go away. And I'm starting to get really demotivated. Please advice and help? I'm also hoping to find someone would be willing to help motivate me, so I can get off my *** and get back to the gym already!

Maybe your changes were in inches lost (gained from muscle) and not scale changes?

Do you log all your food? Measure your servings?

Hi, Chewyi! I'm also a newbie. I'm also looking for a weight loss buddy to motivate me. I'm 4'11" and 142 pounds. I want to lose at least 30 pounds. It's only been 3 weeks for me though so I have a long way to go.

I don't know if this will help you any but I'm going to try cycling calories. I'm the same weight as you - a bit taller but still, close enough - so maybe we can motivate each other.
