Cool New favorite yummy low calorie snack

I just discovered a new favorite

1/3 cup dannon oikos non fat greek yogurt plain
1 tablespoon organic dark honey
110 calories

I know they have a honey flavor but I think it's to sweet and I like mixing my own.
It's yummy with apples and strawberries to dip but I bet any fruit would be so good.

Anyone else loving anything right now?

My own homemade fruit salad: chunks of pineapple, strawberries, peaches, and cantelope, etc. You can also add apples, oranges, pears, bananas, or whatever other fruit you like. I find this fills me up better than other kinds of snacks. Would be nice with a dollop of your honey-yogurt on top, I'm sure ...

I use Greek Gods brand plain yogurt (regular amount of fat version) and honey as well.

I prefer the full fat version because it satiates me longer and I end up needing fewer total calories over a period of time.

I also use the plain yogurt as a substitute for mayo or sour cream in most things.

Another favorite snack is Trader Joes spicy spinach mini "pizzas". They are 140 calories each. A little bit of hummus on them goes a long ways as well!

Not a low calorie snack by any means, but my husband mixed me up some raw almond butter with raw cacao powder and gave me apples to dip it in and I thought he was a god - it's sooooo good, as in way better than the best peanut butter cup good. It's not something I can have every day because it's super high carb for me and I don't normally eat fruit, but YUM.

If you're looking for the little spinach pizzas they are usually near the hummus and the prepackaged ready to eat salads. At least in all the Trader Joes around my neck of the woods.

They are in a re-sealable "baggie" type container.

This might sound really gross to some but...

I use Frank's Thick Buffalo sauce on my celery sticks.

I don't like blue cheese or ranch and can't really have buffalo chicken like you get from a restaurant (I do make chix breast with the sauce at home though).

I was looking for a snack and ready to add peanut butter (way more than I should too!!) and I saw the buffalo sauce. Voila, my new snack and it was yummy.

It was so good, I was impressed with my invention!! I love buffalo sauce anyways but this turned out to be a 30 calorie snack (20 for the celery, 10 for the sauce) without the fat of deep fried wings (the best part, right??). I hope you try it!

Sliced, roasted veggies are my new fave, along with kale chips. It's so nice to be able to CRUNCH! (I'm not a fan of celery, tho I guess that is also crunchy for those who like it)

I make that salad with cottage cheese, SF orange jell-o powder & mandarin oranges. My original recipe called for coolwhip, too, but now I use plain greek yogurt to stretch it some. I also add a splash of Vanilla. YUM! And it's filling!

I ended up having this for breakfast... but last time when I juiced I put the stuff through separately that would make good, edible pulp... mostly berries. Then I saved the pulp and later put it in some Zoi vanilla Greek yogurt. Since it was my meal, I also threw in a small handful of mixed almonds, cashews, walnuts and pecans. Delicious!!

Another snack that is becoming a favorite... and very low cal... is just a raw zucchini! The small, skinny kind from the market. I just wash them and eat them, skin and all! And no guilt at all because they have as close to no calories as just about anything can and are healthy!
