Default Confused over exercise calories

Say the calorie count says for your body/weight you should eat 1800 calories a day then you exercise and burn say 200 calories a day...what are your total calories input for the day? is it 1800 - 200 which totals 1600 calories or can I add the extra 200 to the 1800? Please explain. Thanks!!

Also thought 1800-2000 calories a day would be good for my weight/height to lose weight but its not working so I think i am going to have to drop on calories going in. Hopefully this will fix lack of loss. Thanks for all the input!!

Im at 243 and eating anywhere from 1200-1500 calories a day. Most days I only eat around 13/14. Ive been losing steady at this cal amount for the past 10lbs. I try my best not to go over 1400, its a personal goal Ive set for myself. I lower my intake by 100cal ever so often to adjust to my weight loss.

I also dont bother calculating in my exercise calories so I can eat more. I just take them as a bonus burn.

Your body may be different then mine, this is what I am able to eat at right now without feeling hungry or stuffed. You will most likely need to tweek it as you go.
Hope this helps.
