Default Just wanted to introduce myself

Hello. I just joined 3FC and wanted to introduce myself to the community. I've been directed to the site on a few occasions from some of my google searches, but it dawned on me the other day that I could really get the some of the support I needed by joining an online community.

I've been in the same cycle of weight loss, gain, frustration for as long as I can remember, reaching my goal healthily once at 16 years old (I'm 29 now). I had this realization when I turned 29 that I did not want to go into a new decade dealing with this in my life.

In the last month, I've admitted to myself that I have an issue with compulsive eating and through the help of some online resources, I'm beginning to take some (baby) steps to deal with that. Mainly, I'm sticking to having three meals a day and no snacking/grazing during the day. I've also started working out 5 days a week using 15-20min bodyrock.tv workouts. My goal is to get healthily back to 115lbs (52 kg) at a slow steady rate.

I don't have my ticker yet, but I will keep you all updated on my progress. I know that I can find some great support here and I hope that I can be supportive to all of you in your journeys as well.

I'm a bodyrock lurker, lol, but have never tried a workout. They look so intense. Kudos to you for going for it!

Welcome. Admitting you need support and facing your eating issues are HUGE steps. Congratulations. Joining this site was the smartest thing I've ever done and I hope you soon feel that way, too.

@ShanaOB: You should definitely try the bodyrocker workouts. Its easiest to start with the Timed challenges i.e. do as many reps as you can in 15 minutes. You will be SORE though!
