Welcome Meghan! I'm new here too, just today, although I have come across this website many times on Google. Congratulations on starting your weight loss journey. You can do it!

The biggest thing that I've ever found helpful is to think about YOU and you alone...and think of what YOU need to do to get into a routine and make yourself happy. I have tried to do a few different diets like South Beach, etc. and they have never really lasted with me. I have heard that Weight Watchers is different and allows for a lot of variety and choices. A woman at my work did it and she has lost a lot of weight and has really become passionate about her diet and her workout regimen.

The hardest thing is always just getting started and into it, but anyone who has the heart to do it can do it.
