Default excercise ball to sit/balance on

I'm wondering if I should invest in an excersise ball. I need some abdominal help, but not being to get on the ground and doing crunches, I was wondering if I used that while watching tv or even at work, it would seem to me just to keep balanced would be a great benefit to my mid section.Does any one have one? and what would your recommendations be? worth it? or will the kids end up having it to play with? Thanks for any response I may get.

Exercise ball is a great tool for doing a lot of core exercises. Yes you can have some benefits sitting on it, but you should asap try to do some basic exercises...on youtube there are a lot of exercises you can try.
