I also started my diet on Monday the 7th and made my first goal to be 50 pounds.
I figured with all the holiday treats still lurking around, why stress myself out trying to resist them. I decided to wait until the first Monday of the year, since Monday's will be my weigh in day.
Sounds like we have similar paths. I giggled a bit when I read about you eating the butterfinger bites while reading the weightloss edition of People Magazine, only because it reminded me of myself sitting in front of the TV eating a box of chocolates while watching the Biggest Loser wondering how I gained the weight back...lol
I'm not following any kind of diet... I've done it on my own before, so I know I can do it again. (Thinking Possitively) I just follow the food guide and stay away from junk food. As for exercise. I started The Biggest Loser 30 day jump start DVD. It's only a 10 minute work out every day for 30 days... but WOW, that first day felt like an hour... lol.
