Yep those are fine to use. I have a personal preference for EAS AdvantEDGE shakes because they are about the same nutritionally but a larger portion (11 oz), but those stats are in line with IP.

  • So, do you drink the 11 oz or just the 8 oz like ideal protein? What do you do with the remainder?
  • I drink a Muscle Milk Lite (chocolate) with cold pressed coffee (usually a yummy flavor) every morning, even when I am not doing IP, I put it over ice and add a straw and stretch it out for a couple of hours. I have had EAS, but only vanilla and didn't care for it, maybe the chocolate is better.
  • I thought we couldnt use (lite) Muscle Milk. I have a bunch, outdated probably now, that I could have used. I'll have to check.

I drink the whole thing - one 11 oz Ready to Drink chocolate EAS Carb AdvantEDGE has:

    110 calories
    3g fat
    4g carbs
    1g dietary fiber
    17g protein

The whole 11 oz is VERY close to the IP drinks in terms of nutritional content.

Regular muscle milk, no. But I checked the stats of the Muscle Milk Light:
In an 8.25 oz container of Chocolate Ready to drink,
    100 calories
    2.5g fat
    6g carbs
    2g dietary fiber
    15g protein

Also very close in nutritional content to IP.

Also previous discussion may have been about the Muscle Milk BARS - those are way too high in fat, and most are around 200 calories. Those are not comparable to IP.
  • I'm having my morning MM light shake. Trying vanilla and it's not bad. I mix them with two cups of spinach... Oh, and I put a tbsp of WF pancake syrup in this one...it really is tasty and going down super easy!
