So even though I have been eating things that I don't normally eat during the past week and a half (at work mostly because of the season), I haven't gained any weight back of the 7 lost!

on the scale this morning: 166, which is where I've been for the past week or so - this isn't where I would LIKE to be, but I'm just happy that I've been able to keep it there, especially with New Year's Eve looming in the very near future. The thing is, is that I am still logging what I eat and being mindful of my calories, which does seem to help (I'll admit there were a few days including Christmas day where I didn't log anything!). AND I've stayed in the gym. Step class tomorrow night - this class ALWAYS makes me feel great when I'm done

. It's about a 600-700 calorie burn, and the instructor mixes it up with sculpting and toning exercises using dumbbells and a body bar while stepping. I do lift weights, but since I moved in July I haven't been very on track with it, which is why when I bench my strength isn't up to par as it was before. I used to be able to bench 150 for my one rep max! Oh well, I'll get it all back now that things are settling down. Once New Year's Day passes, I look forward to seeing the numbers on the scale continue their retreat!!!
