Hi everyone! i was wondering if any of you know or are currently doing insanity workout by Shaun T? it'd be awesome if we could share our progress, ***** about how damn crazy Shaun T is or just, support one another when the workout gets tough (especially in month 2!). When i started Insanity most days i felt sore and i just wanted to quit, but thank goodness i didn't. it would have been fun to share how my workout went with people who're doing the same workout! Hope to hear from you guys!
I have done the insanity workouts! I am planning on starting again when I finish my round of p90x... But I LOVE them! They are super hard and I love that even when you get in better shape, you can still push yourself by adding more reps and improving your form! (This will be my third tound of insanity and I'm sure it will STILL kick my butt) I won't be starting for another month but I just wanted to say good luck and have fun!!
Today will be day four of Insanity for me! I'm so sore, I can't sit down! I go to yoga at night, it helps with the pain I can already see definition in my abs (well, upper and lower..the middle has a few inches on it). I have 50 lbs to lose.
How much did you lose in round 1 and 2? Do you get used to the soreness? Maybe I need to buy some epsom salt and study in the tub once school starts up.
I just started over 4 days ago also! This is my 3rd round, and although I got a much better fit test score than my first one.. I am still fairly sore today. :P But I love it. The first time I did insanity was when I lost about 20 lbs total, but I dont remember exactly how much in round 1 and 2- the second time I didn't lose any weight, but my muscles became more defined and my fitness levels improved a ton.
At the end of the first round I remember thinking, "this is great! Im not as sore after these workouts anymore!" the next day.. I started round two. Round two is BRUTAL!
My sis is doing that, well she kinda stopped a few weeks into it but had managed to get into her pre preg pants, not as well as before but she noticed an improvement relatively fast. I injured my hip in early December after a couple weeks of not so hard exercises, yeah embarrassing. I had to go see a chiropractor. I am still recovering. I watched clips of insanity and thought the name was very fitting. Kuddos to everyone who is pushing through it, I envy you. I did google before and after pics and was amazed at how well it tones and shapes.
